The Respite Lodge- Broken Bow

The Respite Lodge is located on the southern entrance to Beavers Bend State Park in the Southern Hills addition, near the new Choctaw Landing Casino and a short drive to all the fun things to see and do in Hochatown. The Respite Lodge is also only a 3-minute drive to fishing in Broken Bow Lake, fly fishing in the Mt. Fork River or hiking in Beavers Bend State Park.

Everyone will love this 1,700 square foot cabin - even the family dog is welcome to join in the fun at the Respite Lodge. The front deck offers 2 seating areas - 1 with rocking chairs and the other features cushioned wicker seating for 5 people.

You can enjoy a lively game of pool, board games and puzzles in the game room. Or just relax in the living room, which features a comfortable (sofa bed) couch, love seat and two recliners in front of a romantic fireplace, where you can unplug from your other world with popcorn and a movie.

Kitchen is fully stocked with all the modern conveniences of home, and a large dining table. There is also an outside dining table for dinner under the stars.

It is tucked into tall pine trees, with a hot tub on the back deck.

3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV and ceiling fans throughout the cabin.

This was the first time for us to rent this house and it was amazing. We had a great time the kids enjoyed all the games and pool table. It was very peaceful. Easy to get around to all the local attractions.

Great location. Host answered all questions right away. Kids liked the game room. Very comfy beds, they are high. They provided a foot stool to climb in bed. Very well stocked kitchen.

Although we made the best of our time because we love Broken Bow, the price and amenities at this particular unit was not the best. The bathroom showers had mildew and dust was covering many surfaces, the temperature in a few rooms was hot even after hours of running the ac, there was no regular coffee to drink, the grill was dirty and no oil to be able to cook or clean it once we were able to finally get it started. For the price and compared to other units it was just subpar. We were upcharged to switch days immediately after booking as well. Just not our typical experience in the area. It's a great basic unit in my opinion, but not worth what we paid.

Hi April, It’s a shame that you didn’t mention any of these items to me directly, in fact you did not respond to any of my communication. We believe our unit is priced fairly given the amenities, entertainment, location, and size of our cabin. The upcharge for the change in date was controlled by Vrbo, not us. Most rentals do not provide cooking oil, we provide Keurig k-cups and sugar as a courtesy, but we do have a regular drip machine available for use. We will address the cleanliness issues with our staff. I apologize that the temperatures in late July made it difficult for the AC units to cool at your liking.
