Everything with this place was amazing! From the ease of correspondence with the owners to the cleanliness and comfort of the home. We loved how there were helpful notes around the house to give us insight to how a light worked, how to use the stovetop, etc. Really helpful! The game room was AMAZING!! We enjoyed everything that room had to offer, and spent a lot of time down there. This place checks all of the boxes and then some - we would love to come back!

This property was perfect for our family gathering, with an organized kitchen with all that we needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner, and a super fun game room where family members of all ages could have fun together. Everything was labeled and organized so we didnt have the stress of trying to figure it out. Also, the grounds are beautiful. I highly recommend this place!

Fun Ithaca Getaway

This location is great near the town for some nice dining experiences as well as centrally located for beautiful hiking spots. During late nights or rainy days the game room is an awesome addition to take advantage of.

They say that it's the company that you keep, but the environment is just as important. This house checked all of the boxes and made it even easier to make lasting memories and lots of laughs. Kevin and Kelly were incredible hosts! You won't regret planning a visit here!

The best property ever!

We have stayed at numerous places nationally and internationally. This is definitely one of the best! The location is great and the house is beautiful and extremely comfortable! We had a great time in the game room as well. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. The hosts are the kindest people I've met in a long time! Would definitely stay here again!!!

The host was easy to work with even getting back to us at 4:51 a.m. when there was an internet outage. He also checked in to make sure everything was going well and suggest a local fair. The house was immaculate (even the grill!) and there were lots of thoughtful details that made the stay even more comfortable (plenty of towels, places to unpack, lots of nice areas to "hang out", well-stocked kitchen with some starter water in the fridge, etc.). The new game room downstairs is awesome and well-equipped! Overall, we loved the house and would definitely stay again if in the area!

Absolutely perfect place to stay for Cornell move in or any activity around the Ithaca area! Exceptionally clean with great attention to detail. Our kids loved the extensive game room that was in the basement, we enjoyed walking the nature trails in the backyard, and a beautiful deck to eat dinner. Kevin was very responsive to any questions that we had. We hope to stay there again in the future for visits to the area as we now have two children at Cornell, and it’s very conveniently located for campus.

Really nice 3bd house. Five people- plenty of room. Very clean and obviously a lot of work put into the house. Kids loved the basement game room. About 20 min to Ithaca. A/C in bedrooms kept everything comfortable- though it was not terribly hot during our stay. Communication with owners prompt and friendly.

Exceptionally well kept property!

The photographs do not do enough justice to how exceptional the property is. Very neatly kept. The host is very pro-active with any queries/questions that you might have. The property had anything and everything that one would ask for, for a perfect getaway. And the icing on the cake was the game room, we just could not have enough of it. Will definitely want to go back there soon, and would wholeheartedly recommend this property!

Enjoy the Beauty of Nature, Relaxation, and Tranquility

Our family had the best time at Kevin and Kelly's beautiful home. Everything was clean, beautifully decorated, and very accommodating. We enjoyed the hiking trails and the creek on the property. The outside has plenty of space to enjoy a bonfire, eat outside, and relax in the beauty of Mother Nature. The inside has plenty of space to relax in the living room. The game room is super amazing, it is a large space with so many games!!! There is also plenty to do in town and good tasting food. We can not wait to come back.

Amazing getaway.

The house and property were beautiful and have everything you could want or need for a family trip. Close enough to town yet just enough out of the way and private. Everything was clean and has been recently updated. The attached deck and gazebo are perfect for breakfast. The host was very personable and quick to respond. We will absolutely be back for more vacations and hikes.

Great stay!

My family and I spent the week at Kevin and Kelly’s rental house. It was such a comfortable house that was fully stocked with all supplies you would need for the week. It was decorated so nicely and very nice to come home to after a long day of hiking and biking. The owners were super helpful and responsive to any questions we had and were so nice. We enjoyed the pond and golf area in the evening. Also loved the fire pit area and mosquito net outside trellis area for dinner. Would highly recommend this place!

Maxin and Chillaxin

It was absolutely beautiful. The weather wasn't very good must of the well but that was fine because the house is still cozy, warm and beautiful. It's a very suspicious and comfortable house and we would definitely stay here again. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic! I can’t say enough about how wonderful our host was. We had one of our friends who was supposed to stay with us this trip wind up in the hospital and we checked in very late but Kevin didn’t mind and made sure we got in ok and has asked to be updated on how our friend is doing and wanted to send flowers. Such a wonderful person! The cabin was so nice and exceeded expectations, we were able to enjoy the game room, the fire pit, the grill, deck, watched movies on the big screen, and were able to use the coffee maker and popcorn popper, the oven to make cookies, everything was great and just what we needed. WiFi worked great, air hockey and pool table were super fun. The beds were comfy and loved all the available seating options. All rules in the house were reasonable and posted clearly. Thank you sooooo much! We appreciate you.

We were in Ithaca for our Cornell Reunion and had an awesome stay at the Chillaxing Cabin! This house far exceeded our expectations and was even nicer than the photos. Everything was so clean and very new. The amenities around the house made it feel like we were staying in a hotel. I especially loved the bedside tables on both sides that were touch activated and had USB chargers built in. There were plenty of towels. The game room was amazing! It is brand new and wasn't even in the listing when we booked so this was a pleasant surprise when we arrived. Both kids and adults enjoyed hanging out in the cool basement with all of the different game options. We had never even seen a mini shuffle board before. The property was beautiful and really well cared for. It was very private and truly felt like a mini retreat. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire both nights and listening to the stream behind the property. Kevin and Kelly were great! They were very responsive and accommodating of us arriving a little early. It is really obvious how much they care about their house and guests. My kids have already asked when we can go back to the Chillaxing Cabin )
