The Homestead was built in 1834. It is a peaceful 2 story brick home, tucked away down a long gravel lane. Turn off your phone and sip your coffee on our two-story deck, overlooking the trees. It's a great place to retreat!

We came for a wedding so we had the groom’s parents and 3 siblings, an aunt, two grandmas and a grandpa. We loved the historic nature of the property. The setting was very relaxing. We would have loved to know the history of the property.

Family stay

We were in town to attend a family members funeral. The house allowed our immediate family to stay together in a very relaxing environment. We happened to trip a breaker while preparing breakfast and Josh offered to come fix it. Our brother was willing to take care of this after Josh gave us the location. The house has a real cool vintage feel, yet offers the modern amenities. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.
