About this property
Glamping on Lummi Island!
Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable Airstream. Located in Lummi Island’s Scenic Estates, just down the road from the Baker Preserve trail, and a short drive to beach access, this place is bound to make you forget all your worries the minute you drive off the ferry.
Although the Airstream is hooked up to water, septic and electricity, there are still some small things to be mindful of.
If the black water and gray water tanks get too full, they will need to be dumped. You can check all the water levels on the “systems monitor” in the bathroom.
1. Press the on/off button and wait a second for everything to flash.
2. Flip the status button and watch it cycle through all the water tanks to let you know their levels. If the gray or black water levels get above 3/4-7/8 then you should flush them. (Disregard freshwater).
3. Flip off switch.
(Don’t worry about the water heater, it’s on).
To flush the tanks, walk around to the back side of the airstream where you see a long red pipe:
1. Pull right handle (silver) straight out and let it empty. Push it back in.
2. Repeat with left handle (yellow). And you’re done! Toss a tiny packet of TST RV toilet treatment (in the cupboard below the bathroom sink) in the toilet bowl and flush it down.
Travel trailers tend to condensate while you are in them, so it’s often a good idea to keep the vents on the roof open if it isn’t raining to allow some of the air to escape.
The heating/AC control is on the wall in the bedroom. It is slow to respond so tap the power button twice to turn it on and give it a second. She heats up fast and stays pretty warm, and there is an additional heater in the cupboard if you would rather use that.
The smoke detector goes off nearly every time you use the stove so you might want to silence it while you cook.
You have to light the pilot light each time you use the oven. Hold and turn the “pilot push/hold” oven knob down for 10 seconds then light the pilot with the BBQ lighter from the drawer.
The awning can be a little tricky, I recommend using this video (I reference it every time).

There are two garbage cans by the shed, one for garbage and the other for recycling.
The switch to the patio lights is on the shed by the door. (Shed is locked for storage).
The lockbox is located on the front of the shed.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns, I’m happy to help! (360)410-1606
