We had a great stay. Loved the location. It was far enough out of town to not be bombarded with noise and traffic, but close enough that we didn't need to drive hours to get to anywhere.

Josh was wonderful and checked in a couple of times to make sure if we needed anything. The area was nice and so beautiful this time of year.

Ashley, Josh will be glad to know those check-ins landed the way he intended, and a host who stays attentive without hovering is what we aim for. The area really does shine this time of year, with the season doing half the work. Come back whenever the scenery calls.

Great little cabin

We really enjoyed cabin #3. It has a minimalist feel with the necessary amenities. Enjoyed the play area in the common area with the grill. Children and pup enjoyed the open space. Would definitely do it again.

We rented this cabin based off the pictures on VRBO. It looked nice and well kept based on the pictures and so we booked it for 4 nights. When we got there we noticed a huge hole in the driveway that we had to somehow maneuver around to park our car. As we entered we noticed the front deck had moss on it and was not well kept but we went in and checked out the inside. At first glance it looks pretty good with an updated kitchen and bathroom. But after further inspection we noticed some hair and what looked like feces stains on the bed sheets. It was pretty gross. We decided to give the owner or manager a call, I started to sit on the couch to make the call and I noticed what look like blood splatters on the couch. I did not want to try stay there any more. I took pictures of all the crap we found and wrote a note to the owner/manager and left to find somewhere else to stay.The owner/manager messaged me back that he’d send someone out to clean but by that time we were so pissed off and grossed out, we couldn’t possibly go back. Over the last few days I tried to get the manager/owner to reimburse at least part of the rental which was over 650 but 5 days later he said they could not reimburse any of it. I feel like we were swindled because the pictures did not depict the true shape this cabin was in…renters beware!!!

Hurricane Helene Problem

We never got to the property due to Hurricane Helene. That was our choice not to go but my problem is according to the Host’s website there is a 50% charge if canceled within the timeframe. We met that window but have still not seen the credit on our credit card statement. Just wondering what the delay is or if more info is needed. Thank you JD

Amazing cabin & pet friendly. Exactly what we needed for our stay. Host was very responsive when I couldn’t figure out the keypad & also when I was confused about the Internet. The little playground area has seen better days(the rings /bean bags were broken or missing), but my kids still loved it. We saw bears right down the street and on our last day we saw a mama bear and three cub walk right by our cabin. The cabin was not cluttered with things. It was the perfect space for my family.
