Famed Tahoe architect Jim Morton designed this home in 1960. All clear-heart redwood inside and out, this well-maintained home is minutes away from downtown Tahoe City and a short drive to Homewood, Palisades (former Squaw) & Alpine ski resorts. Hot tub, two outside decks surrounded by trees, stylish living room with big windows, short walk to the private beach, hand-knotted Tibetan rugs, and cozy oversized stone fireplace built by true craftsman. You don't find this kind of home every day.

The home offers access to a private gated, sunny, sandy beach with a pier just a few minutes' walk away. This exclusive amenity is reserved only for residents of this quiet neighborhood and is available from May through October.

Lovely birthday getaway

This is a great property. The house was cozy, clean, and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-equipped. The location was excellent, a quick drive to downtown and walking access to the beach. 6 adults, 1 three year old, an infant, and a small dog co-existed just swimmingly in the house for 3 nights. Thanks for hosting us!
