We have stayed here several years in a row now. It is a wonderful place with amazing views. Mailana is an outstanding host and is very responsive. Her communication is excellent, and she gave us many recommendations for activities and dining in the area.

The house was amazing and location was perfect! The WiFi was out the entire time we were there (not the fault of the host) but we were away from our babies and FaceTiming was difficult without the connection. The host provided a lot of local recommendations prior to arrival.

Had the most wonderful stay at Mailana’s place. She was the best host, quick to respond and so friendly. I will definitely be returning next time I am in Tahoe! Highly recommend if you want a perfect weekend on the lake.

Mailana is a fantastic hostess! Before we even arrived she sent clear check in guidelines plus fun info about the area. She stayed so accessible the whole time. The setting of the house couldn’t be more beautiful! It was beyond well equipped; anything you need, she has it! We loved every bit of our stay and hope to return! Thank you!

We just got back from Tahoe and enjoyed this house:) spot was great and the little things that the home owner provided made all the difference. Fans, paddle boards, bikes. It really was a great vacation.

Excellent location and terrific views of the lake. We used the nearby small private beach and pier a lot, and the water sports equipment was much appreciated. The house's appointments were typical for similar rental properties. While there was a bit of traffic noise from the highway at times (as was anticipated), it usually dropped off significantly after dark. Overall, the house worked extremely well for our gathering of 4 couples plus a toddler.

The view was fabulous—exactly as depicted in the photos. This home is ideal for families. Check-in was very easy, with Mailana providing detailed instructions on how everything in the house worked. The home was very comfortable and was immaculate. Having a small beach and pier across the street was great for the kids. The weather was on the warm side and oscillating fans were provided for our comfort. Absolutely, the only downside was the road noise at night. If windows are closed, you can’t really hear anything but because of the heat, we had open windows.

This place is amazing! Lake Tahoe is an amazing place on its own but the Chalet makes it THAT much better. From the private beach to the gourmet kitchen, this place had everything I was looking for in a Lake Front cabin. The place was clean when we arrived and everything was just as described. There were paddle boards and bikes for us to use, along with games and everything we needed to cook a gourmet meal in the kitchen. Communication from the host was excellent from the beginning! She had amazing recommendations and was very quick to respond to any questions I had. GUYS! I accidentally left my ear buds in one of the bedrooms when we left and the host was so helpful with getting them back to me. I was thoroughly impressed with everthing about the Chalet. I'm making plans to return in the winter. 10/10
