The dryer door latch needs fixing. There were no dishwasher pods but I bring my own. Woke up to unannounced weedeater and mower. Definitely would recommend railings on dock. All these were small details. The views were stupendous, fishing nice and stay relaxing . Thanks
Greener Pastures was a great place for us. Nice amenities and a great view from the deck over Lake Catherine. It was a relaxing point to start our visits to Oak Alley, New Orleans, Slidell, and Bay City.
Came down to NOLA for Jazz Fest, and this was a perfect retreat after the crowds to relax and enjoy the water and the calm. Would 100% stay again, highly recommended, and I rent a lot, this was a standout.
We stayed with our cruise group for the weekend before going to port. This was perfect place for a group and was nice to get outside of NOLA but easy access as well. Beautiful view of the lake!
We had an awesome time at Greener Pastures. It was the perfect location for us. Loved being able to go back to a peaceful place to enjoy away from the city. Will definitely return again in the future!
Property was nice. The bridge closure on Hwy 90 made our trips to N. O. much more inconvenient, but that may be temporary. Overall good value for the price.
The property was exactly as it was described. Clean, safe area and peaceful. The only thing (and it wasn’t a deal breaker for us), I wish they would have mentioned the well water.
A comfortable space that allows you to see the city and then rest quietly with gorgeous water views. We had excellent communication with the property manager and check in/out was easy. The place was generously set up with ample resources like soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, kleenex, paper towels, and toilet paper, towels and linens, laundry soap plus basic kitchen essentials. Also had a water machine which was very helpful.
Whitney was amazing. She answered our questions and concerns immediately. The property is great and the pictures were accurate. My only complaint is that the fees, taxes, and extras took a 211 nightly listed cost to over 500 a night. That is on VRBO not the property or property managers.
As Advertised. Couldn’t keep our boat there, and no boiling equipment, but they told me that. We caught speckled trout at the end of the pier, under the lights. Great set up! We also used the provided crab traps and caught some beautiful Blue Crabs! Inside of camp very comfortable, although we weren’t there a lot.
Had an amazing time fishing and relaxing. A few items for improvement, tub in master bath would not hold water. Dock has no hand rails and gaps in boards will grab your shoes. Outside of these minor things place is beautiful and felt like home away from home!
The house was very spacious and the area is very peaceful and quiet. We loved having our private pier for fishing and catching crabs however it made me a little nervous that there are no railings leading out there. The house has everything you need except there is only one TV so that can create some issues with teens, I also wish there were locks on the bedroom doors for privacy. It is about 30-40 minutes from the French Quarter. Overall great experience!
When we arrived at the property, it was 94 degrees inside the house. The air was not working at all. It was cooler outside than it was inside but was still 89 degrees outside. I spent the next 3+ hours trying to reach the owner for resolution. During this time, my elderly parents and other family members sat outside the house sweating and feeling miserable. I ended up contacting the property management company, who also attempted multiple times to reach the owners. We really did not want to move from this property but were ultimately sent to another property nearby since the owners could not be reached to get the air situation evaluated. The lack of communication was unacceptable. The house itself was also very dirty. It did not appear that the toilet, sink, refrigerator, etc had been cleaned from the previous people who stayed there. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and we will not be staying there again.

Thank you for staying with us! We are sorry you didn't enjoy your visit.
- We are sorry you were uncomfortable during your stay due to the temperature of the home. We were traveling and as soon as we got word that the house was not cooling properly, we contacted our repairman. Knowing you were experiencing discomfort, we offered extra days at no cost during their stay or days at no charge for future stays.
- We are sorry you found things in our home to be unclean. We have the home professionally cleaned in between each guest's stay - however, we do understand if things were missed this time around. We have used the same cleaning crew for five years now and have had only positive reviews on the cleanliness of the house. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We appreciate your feedback as we work to improve in any way possible.
