It makes us happy to know the location worked so well for exploring St. Augustine’s top attractions. We truly appreciate your recommendation and would be thrilled to welcome you back anytime!
Very nice cottage. Great location and within walking distance of historical district...which is very important as there is no good parking downtown. The cottage offers 2 driveways! This is the cleanest place we have stayed! Comfortable beds and the showers had great pressure, hot and high shower heads (I'm 6'2") that's important. Communication with Linda (owner) was frequent and timely as needed. All appliances are in good shape. We would stay there again.

About the host
Hosted by Linda Crovella Waldron
We are real estate agents who live in Fort Lauderdale and have been working on perfecting this home since we purchased it in January of 2024. The cottage has been updated with the help of a decorator paying attention to the 1920s style. She has put her heart and soul into making this property stand out. We have been living in the property every other week and it has helped us create the best possible vacation experience for our guests. We are experienced property managers for a small hotel in Lauderdale by the Sea "LaMer Suites" if you are interested in ratings.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Lincolnville for its perfect balance—just a half-mile from downtown, yet peacefully removed from the tourist bustle. Within a few blocks, you’ll discover fantastic restaurants, bars, live music, and historic sites, all within a picturesque walk among charming historic homes and beautiful old trees. Just a block away, the Old Town Trolley provides a scenic and convenient way to explore downtown, with 22 hop-on, hop-off stops and open-air seating.
What makes this property unique
We named our property "Alexina's Porch" in honor of my mother, who owned a historic home in Miami with a front porch where we spent countless hours enjoying wine and long conversations with loved ones. Every detail in this cottage has been thoughtfully curated and tested by us, reflecting the love and care we’ve put into it. The furniture and décor are a blend of antiques and handmade pieces crafted by our talented decorator. You'll find many thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home.
