Everything about this place is exactly what you would expect and more. The cabin was clean and stocked with just about everything you need. The host was extremely kind. She checked on us during our visit and after. We had a great weekend digging for crystals and exploring Hot Springs. We will definitely be referring this beautiful cabin to friends and family.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled that you enjoyed your stay! Please come back and visit anytime!
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home. Rain cut short one of our lake days so we spent quite a bit of down time enjoying the home and property. We kayaked and fished and had a welcome break from our daily grind. The property was as advertised and I can’t recommend it enough. Lake access was quick and easy at Rabbit Tail and we were pleasantly surprised as most of our stays have been on the south side of the lake. Thank you again.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're so thrilled that you enjoyed your stay and took full advantage of the cabin and property! We would love to host you all again in the future.
This place is gorgeous with a gorgeous setting. Secluded but close to a boat launch which we wanted for fishing. It had everything we needed for a 21st anniversary getaway. We cooked dinner for 2, looked at the stars at night, listened to the middle of nowhere sound, and spent nights by the fire place. A bit of a drive to Hot Springs, but we spent our first day going there to a winery and checking some things out before staying in minus fishing. Easy check-in and great communication! We would definitely book again! Thanks for sharing your place with us! It was wonderful!

This location and house were perfect. It is less than 20 mins from Lake Ouachita, which was what we were looking for. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We came with our three kids, and they loved it. We will definitely be back. The owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Pictures don’t do it justice! The house was immaculate, very well stocked, and stunning. It’s right on the water and gorgeous. We spent hours on the water with the kayaks and paddle boards. We fished a ton. We even saw a bald eagle flying above the backyard! The property is just so serene and peaceful. I very much enjoyed having coffee on the deck each morning and listening to all of the birds. The host was very quick to respond to questions. Beds were very comfortable. We had absolutely everything we needed and more. The scenery is amazing. This vacation was absolutely perfect and we are already discussing when we can return!

Thank you so much, Kadi! I’m thrilled that you had such a lovely stay! We would love for y'all to come back anytime!
The house is stunning, the decor is perfect, fully equipped throughput the house with whatever you may need. Good sound system, some things were too high tech for us to figure out, but we're seniors, so that's on us. The river is right in front of the back deck; beautiful scenery. There are a lot of surrounding excursions, hiking, driving thru the woods on paved trail, specifically Richardson Bottom. Stop when you reach the marsh and take it all in very quietly. (Don't continue forward on the road in; turnaround.) Great shops Mt Ida, best burgers at Blue Bell in Story. Plenty of hiking beyond the neighborhood the A Frame is in Comfy, clean, quiet place, but I see how a family could have a lot of fun! Great host communication!

About the host
Hosted by Angela Alexander
We have two sweet teenaged girls and 2 big, fluffy dogs. I've always loved escaping city life to head to the woods, whether it's for camping, staying in a cabin, or just going for a hike. This a-frame cabin is my dream come true...a cozy place to get away from it all, right on the river, and surrounded by a national forest. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Why they chose this property
The Garden Lane A-frame is in a small neighborhood that used to be a cattle farm. The neighborhood borders Irons Fork Creek/River and is surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest. This area is home to a section of the 2nd largest quartz crystal vein in the world!
What makes this property unique
Our A-frame is right on the Irons Fork River where you can play in the water all day! We are minutes away from hiking trails, 13 miles from North Shores Marina, and just 30 minutes away from several crystal mines.
