About this space
Our newly renovated 2 bedroom basement home has been decorated and equipped with small touches and amenities to ensure a relaxing and pleasant stay. Clean, inviting, spacious with everything you need to enjoy your time away from home. We are 2 miles from downtown Lawrenceville’s historic square, with entertainment, restaurants, and shopping. 3 miles from Northside Hospital Gwinnett, 9 miles from the Mall of Georgia and 9 miles from Gas South Arena Duluth. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
The space
The apartment overlooks large, quiet and pretty gardens for guest use only, ensuring complete privacy. The patio area is partly covered for those extremely hot days and is ideal for dining or evening drinks. There is a large bbq for your use on the lower level of the garden.
The apartment is tranquil, airy and light with subtle touches of Europe throughout. Unlike other basement apartments, there is little to no noise from above. The living area has large windows looking directly out to the gardens. There are two comfy futon sofas which can also be used as beds and the large mounted tv will give you plenty of options for viewing.
The well equipped kitchen has a stove/oven, large fridge freezer and a hot beverage station, with endless flavors of coffee and teas! The appliance station will give you more options for cooking and holds an air fryer, crock pot and small grill/toaster.
The dining area is spacious with a window overlooking the garden for extra natural light.
The separate laundry room has both a washer and dryer for your convenience.
The bedrooms are beautiful. You are spoilt for choice with the Mirror Room or The Gold Room, both styled exquisitely with walk in closets. The Gold Room also has a large smart tv.
A wonderful stay is guaranteed for those who prefer a certain je ne sais quoi!

The entire apartment and patio area is for guest use only. There are also two allocated car spaces on the driveway.
Other things to note
The pathway to the cottage has a slight slope, which may not be ideal for those with mobility issues or wheelchairs.

We had a lovely visit at Tracey’s property. It was quiet and comfortable. My fairly healthy 91year old dad could walk up and down the steep path- so don’t let that scare you!

Beautiful Place in Lawrenceville

Tracey is an incredible host! Her basement apartment is impeccably clean, inviting, and has everything you could need to make your stay here comfortable. Tracey herself is very friendly, communicates well, and did her best to ensure we were comfortable during our stay here. The cottage was very nice and clean. It is a basement apartment but never felt like a basement. Nice patio that we enjoyed in the evenings. The only concern, the walkway is rather steep and may be a challenge if you have mobility issues. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again. Tracey was available whenever we had in the questions.

Our stay at Tracey's VRBO was absolutely wonderful! She responded quickly to messages, provided easy check-in instructions and from the moment we walked in, we could tell that Tracey goes above and beyond for her guests. We felt so welcome with all the extra thoughtful touches: cookies, fruit, water, welcome note, and even slippers! The home is well equipped with plenty of supplies in the kitchen and bathroom and more towels than the 4 of us could use! It was meticulously clean, comfortable (the beds were awesome), thoughtfully designed and decorated. We had plenty of room for seating and just hanging out together inside and outside in the beautiful back yard. It is in a great location, close to the cute downtown area and groceries. Previous reviews have mentioned the slope to the entrance, but we had no difficulty even with large and heavy bags (we never travel light and none of us are spring chickens!!). We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and hope to return.

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Family friendly and very pretty. 2 mins from Publix, 5 mins from downtown Lawrenceville, with a great choice of restaurants and parks very close by.
Stay within the peace and tranquility of the apartment, or drive a short distance to the hustle and bustle of downtown. The best of both worlds!

What makes this property unique

Most people who have stayed have mentioned the tranquility of the gardens. The apartment looks out onto woods, so you will always have complete privacy. The gardens are very pretty, with Japanese plants and flowers, as well as fruit trees. The fairy lit patio is great for outdoor entertainment. The apartment itself has been decorated, based on an English cottage and has all the amenities needed, including fluffy white towels, a range of toiletries, various teas and coffees, a bbq, as well as an air fryer, crockpot, separate grill and a conventional stove. The apartment has often been described as a home away from home.
