Great stay!

Girls’ Book Club weekend was a success! Great location right across from beach access, a step away from soft serve ice cream, not a bad walk to the boardwalk area. Spacious and clean. Only negative was water pressure - despite having a few bathrooms, only one person could shower at a time after the beach! Would still stay again.

I’m so sorry to hear about the water pressure issue. We don’t have anything installed that should restrict the flow provided by the town, and this is the first time anyone has mentioned it being a problem. Was this affecting all four bathrooms or just one? Since the house has a full filtration system, mineral buildup in the showerheads shouldn’t be an issue, but if one bathroom had noticeably lower pressure than the others, that could be the cause. Thank you for letting us know.

Great House and location to the beach!

We had a lovely time at this beautiful house! It’s on a busier road but is such an easy walk to the beach, ice cream, and the tiki bar across the street :). Carol was great to work with and gave a ton of recommendations! The view from the master room with the deck is so beautiful so make sure whoever stays in that room is open to having coffee and happy hour on the deck :). Thank you for opening up your home to us!

Gorgeous Home

Look no further than this beautiful home. Going on vacation is always a treat and when you stay in an upscaled condo, it makes it just that much better. This home was tastefully decorated and had everything we could want or need. It is located close to the beach so that was a real treat. We loved the balcony off the master bedroom. Susan was easy to work with and was quick to respond to my questions. We will rent with her again anytime :) Thank you, Susan.

Beautiful home

Lovely home with 4 full baths. Plenty of space for 10 people. Comfortable beds! Did have some delays with communication via Vrbo messaging. Discovered that text messaging directly to owner’s phone was the best option and responses were very timely. Would suggest using the available programmable keyless entry instead of a single key in a combination lockbox. The keyless entry locks can easily be reprogrammed for each renter; some even remotely.

Kay - We did add keyless entry this season. Thank you for the suggestion. Susan

Nice property

House was clean upon arrival. Communication with host was great- We had a group of 9 Parking was TIGHT for 3 vehicles- Also the palm trees “bled” on the the cars (very hard to remove the sap) We didn’t have ice or refrigerator water (in door- ) but no big deal Plenty of hot water for all 9 of us View of beach very limited but it was a very short walk to get there Noise level was ok Didn’t have any safety concerns A few windows serve restaurants within walking distance Not easy to exit driveway due to traffic- but some people were nice enough to hold traffic for us to back out Not 1,000 things to do before leaving - just basically trash out and run dishwasher

Great location but cleanliness and amenities need improvement

We have visited Carolina Beach several times. This was our first time staying at this property. The location was very nice (convenient to beach and dining) and was definitely the highlight, however, we found that the cleanliness was lacking and that the amenities indicated in the description were not provided as described. The first evening we used the tub for the children, we found that it was not draining properly. Upon closer inspection, we found a fist sized hair clog. We found dead flies, dust bunnies, etc. on the windowsills, hairs on some of the linens, and so forth. We were advised that starters would be provided for dish soap, detergents, etc. We were provided two dish pods and two garbage bags, but there was no laundry detergent, no liquid dish detergent, etc. Other amenities were sparse: we were provided one bath towel for each person, there was no soap or other products in the baths or showers, etc. In other properties we have stayed at, these things were provided.
