Just 300 feet from Lake Pocotopaug, this East Hampton cottage boasts 3 inviting bedrooms. There is a large main bedroom furnished with 1 king bed, another bedroom with twin bunk beds, and a third room with a queen-size pull-out couch bed. The lovely property features amenities such as a screened-in porch, a comfortable living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, a work-from-home space, a large TV, a garden, a firepit, high speed internet, AC, and a convenient same floor laundry room with a washer and dryer.

Here, you can unwind on the porch, relax by the firepit, play some basketball at the court next door, and take a walk down the hill to enjoy the natural beauty of the lake and its surroundings. We hope you find our place to be a perfect haven. As our guest, you can enjoy private lake access to two different lake beaches. Wonderful stay on Lake Pocotopaug!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was as described, with all the amenities we needed. We appreciated the use of floaties and beach towels for the lake. The house stayed cool and refreshing when the weather heated up during our stay. The lake access was wonderful and the neighbors were friendly. Highly recommend this property!

Place was awesome. However, it has a limited accessibility. My mother uses a Walker, and while it was fine for my wife, father and me my mother had some challenges with the bathroom. Other than that just perfect

Thank you for your review Sean and your stay. The pictures of the bathroom are accurate and do not indicate there is support infrastructure for guests with mobility challenges. We expressly communicated with you about the accessibility of cottage because your group included an older guest. "I wanted to make sure the cottage will be a good fit for your stay. The cottage has 1 king bed, 1 set of single bunk beds and a pull out couch bed. We also have several stairs leading up to the house and 2 of the rooms have small stairs or a step going down. Previous older guests mentioned they wish they had known that before booking." To which you replied: "I think we’ll be fine! Mom uses a Walker but is as stubborn as a mule and there are about 8 steps up to our house here" We are disappointed that you lowered your review score based on a very clearly communicated fact of the cottage.

Cozy Stay

Our stay was super easy. Not a far walk to the beach. Communication was super fast and easy as well! Only a slight musty smell in the big bedroom, but not enough for me to take off any stars.

We had a wonderful reunion with my pocotopaug childhood friend. It was comfortable with plenty of space to stretch out, not cramped like some cottages can be. Our dog Loved the walks she took in the afternoon down to the lake. We went in the fall so we weren’t able to swim but if it was warmer we definitely would have jumped off the raft!! Thank you again Thomas and Julie!

Adorable lake cottage

I stayed here with my three bandmates while we were in the area to record an album at a nearby studio. This rental offered the perfect summer getaway feeling we were all looking for. The cottage is within walking distance of two beaches on the lake, nestled in a small community of lake houses that make you feel like you’re really in vacationland. The inside of the house itself was immaculate and everything we needed was readily available. The hosts were very communicative throughout the process with clear instructions for checking in and out. They even left a beach bag with towels and water bottles waiting for us when we arrived! The house was the perfect size for four of us, as we made use of both bedrooms plus the office area with a fold out couch. The screened in porch was so cute and the perfect place to hang out for morning coffee and evening wine. The whole thing was very affordable considering the size, location, and features. Thank you for hosting us! We would love to come back again.
