Regarding bed configuration: You're absolutely right—our listing wasn't clear, and we've updated it to accurately reflect that all large beds are queens (no kings). We apologize for the confusion and have made the description clearer for future guests. Regarding bedding: Our beds feature luxury hotel-quality mattresses with standard bedding (no plastic covers). If you experienced a plastic cover, it may have been a temporary protective layer during a previous stay—we don't use these in our standard setup. Regarding the daybed: The sunroom daybed converts to a queen-sized sleeping surface—there's a second twin mattress that pulls out from underneath. We've added clearer instructions in the room to help future guests. Regarding the insect sighting and bites: We're troubled to hear about this. We maintain a professional pest control schedule and had the property thoroughly inspected since your stay with no issues found. Cherry Grove is a coastal area where mosquitoes and sand fleas are common, especially during warmer months and after rain (which you mentioned occurred). These bites typically come from outdoor exposure. We've had hundreds of guests stay with no similar reports. We recommend bug spray for outdoor activities and beach visits in coastal areas. Regarding bathrooms: Since your stay, we've completed renovations including new toilets and painted walls. Regarding kitchen supplies: We provide a full set of kitchen knives in the knife block on the counter, plus steak knives in the drawer next to the stove. Normal setup for a full kitchen. Regarding the grill: Our gas grill requires following the lighting instructions posted. We've created a instruction card with step-by-step photos to make it easier for guests unfamiliar with gas grills. Regarding the deck: As you noted, you arrived during rain. Wood decks naturally become slippery when wet—we treat ours annually with professional sealer. Since your stay, we've made renovations to create the right, safe, and fun space for all guests: new luxury flooring throughout, open-concept kitchen, updated bathrooms, and clearer instructions.
