It was a great space for our retreat..the driveway was tight and the stairway by the kitchen is difficult.

The property was very nice though the parking in the rear was tight. My only issue really was the temperature of the downstairs. It was really warm. Did not know how to adjust the thermostat down stairs.

The house was very large and accommodating for our group. It was clean and the instructions were clear. A couple of small maintenance items came up but were addressed quickly. Good location for the area's outdoor activities.

Great Vacation Home for A Group

Nice set up! We enjoyed our time here! This property appears small, but it is very spacious and well cared for on the inside. Plenty of room to spread out! Yard is on the smaller side, but suitable as most plan to spend time enjoying the surrounding areas. Though it’s located on the Main Street in Mt. Shasta, outdoor traffic noise was not an issue inside the home, location made shops and area activities easily accessible. Comfortable and very clean, well stocked with everything we needed. Property owner was pleasant, helpful, and quick to respond. Property is monitored. Be prepared to respect reasonable requests regarding activities that could impact neighbors or property condition to avoid issue or additional charges. Instructions and owner expectations are well labeled throughout the home. Would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend this property to friends and family.

GREAT Place to Stay with a Group on Retreat!

My group and I stayed here for the annual retreat I hold in Mt. Shasta. It was perfect! LOVED how there are two distinct living areas - one upstairs and one downstairs - PLUS the yoga/meditation room downstairs! This house is surprisingly roomy (looks much smaller outside than it is!)... and very comfortable. Easy access, walked to downtown, and to hiking in all directions. Thank you!

Great Home Getaway in Mt. Shasta!

Our stay in this lovely home was perfect! The house was immaculate and has many nice touches that made us feel right at home during our stay. Lauren was great to work with and it's obvious the care and attention that went into making our stay a great experience. Overall I rated our stay with 5 stars with the only less than ideal attribute being the road noise heard from the master bedroom. This was not enough to detract from an overall excellent experience!

House is great! (Just a bit noisy...)

Loved the house, the layout, the neighborhood, and the amenities. It was perfect for us (4 adults + 4 kids). Just didn't like that's on a busy street and you can hear (and see the headlights of) every single car that passes by from the first bedroom...

Thanks for staying! Yes, we are centrally located on the Main Street in town so the house is for people who like to be in the middle of it all. We have blinds on all the windows so if they are closed, lights from cars should not be a problem.

Mt Shasta Stay

This was a very nice house in a great location for a large group of people. The house was equipped with everything we would need for a nice stay. Many Air BnBs and VRBOs feel like a home away from home and while we were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay, it did not feel like home because of the signs posted with how much you would be charged for various things. Overall a great place to stay and if you treat the place like you would your own home then you shouldn’t be charged extra.

As much as we love everyone to “feel at home” at our house, this is our house and we appreciate when our house rules are followed. Over the years, we realized putting up a gentle reminder about smoking by the exterior doors has helped people remember that we don’t accept it in or on our property. We also put one laminated card on the counter for our guests to reference with check out instructions, contact info, and house rules. We think it is more helpful than anything and most of our guests agree:)

Great Place

This was a perfect place for a large group! We had plenty of space for sleeping, eating and playing. The house is close to the ski park and shopping. Everything we needed was provided.

lovely home in beautiful Mt. Shasta

My family of five enjoyed this home so much. It felt like home as soon as we walked in the door. Every room and bed is so comfortable! We had wonderful home cooked dinners and also were able to walk to town to shop and dine out. Hiking the many trails and waterfalls nearby was why we came here as well. Ahhh Mt Ahasta

Perfect getaway for gathering with friends and family. Spacious enough to provide a bit of respite from each other but also offers common areas for dining and enjoying conversations. Located near downtown and close enough to the lake. Definitely a place I would chose again!

Comfortable, conveniently located, roomy and awesome responsive hostess!!

We enjoyed our stay for a lot of reasons, but one of the main ones is that Lauren was very responsive and accommodating to us. We had 3 generations gathered at this home, there is something for all ages here. The location is convenient to all that Mt. Shasta has to offer....down town, the mountain, hiking trails, etc. We would definitely stay here again!!
