About this space
Close to all the action! Our cozy bungalow is minutes from Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo, Offutt AFB, and downtown (College World Series, swim trials, concerts, etc.). Within walking distance of Omaha's Hispanic business district with authentic taquerias and shopping.
LOCALS: if you're from Omaha, please message me with the reason for your stay before you book to avoid cancelation.
MILITARY: itemized receipts can be made for DoD.

The house is surrounded by a flower garden and there is a private deck.

We are long-time Omaha residents and live just across the street. Please give us a shout for anything you need. We are happy to answer any questions about the house or Omaha!
The space
A single-story house with a Laundry room in the basement as well as a Living Room, Kitchen/Dining Room, Bedroom, Bathroom, and private deck.
There is a queen-sized bed in the bedroom and futon in the office that comfortably sleeps 1 adult or 2 smaller children. For more sleeping space, there is an air mattress (with built-in pump)in the bedroom closet that can be set up in the living room.
The basement has a large-capacity washer and dryer and an air hockey table.
Guest access
Guests are welcome anywhere in the house except for the garage, which is attached to the basement.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Absolutely amazing home in a great location. 15 minutes from the airport and 5 from the zoo! Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, everything was very clean. I really had everything I needed for my stay. Will definitely be looking for this place my next visit!

I am a native Nebraskan and my husband is from Mexico. We have lived on this corner since 2004 and we love it here. Our house is across the street and one of us is almost always home, so we are able to respond quickly to gust needs.

Why they chose this property

We live on a quiet corner with very nice neighbors, but generally speaking, South Omaha is a lively place. There are lots of local businesses within 5 blocks, and it's a densely populated area, so it feels very alive. I could never live anywhere else in Omaha.

What makes this property unique

We put a lot of thought and care into refinishing our South Omaha Bungalow. My husband did all the work, and guests will notice his artistic touch in the bathroom and kitchen. The former owner of the house was an avid flower gardener and I am doing my best to maintain her garden. I am more of a vegetable gardener, so you may notice peppers and tomatoes tucked in around the flowers. We hope our guest will help themselves to any food they find in the yard (just ask if you're not sure about ripeness). Many of our guest have enjoyed the deck outside the kitchen. We have a lot of deer and turkeys in our neighborhood, and the deck can be a wonderful place to sit early in the morning for a glimpse of the wildlife.
