The house is nice. But the listing should be clear that there is a road in front of the house—between the house and the trees and bushes along the coastline. Also, there is no beach access near the house. You have to walk a ways, and there is only a walkable beach when the tide is low.

I absolutely love this place. It's perfectly situated, just a short drive to Langley's shops and restaurants, but far away enough that you really feel surrounded by natural beauty. Plus the view! Waking up to Puget Sound and the snow-capped mountains is one of my favorite things.

A charming island cottage with stunning views of the sound and mountains. It’s close to Langley and all of its shops and restaurants, but it’s also a perfect escape from it all, with plenty of peace and quiet. An ideal Whidbey experience!

We arrived at the house on the afternoon of our check in. This was admittedly late January. However the heat in the house was off. It was freezing inside. We turned up the heat in every room and thankfully we brought blankets because it literally took two hours of wrapping up in our blankets to keep warm before we could comfortably do anything. Aside from that the view was beautiful but we found the house sparsely equipped compared to other VRBO properties we have stayed at. Another weird thing we experienced was someone walking past the property in the evening that stopped and literally shined a flashlight in the window. It wasn’t a passive light but it was literally a flashlight shone in the window for a time that drew our attention. The house was in a quiet location and the view was great but I honestly wouldn’t return. Too many strict standards like uploading pictures of my drivers license to prove I’m ok to stay there only to have people shine flashlights in the window when we are seeking a peaceful and respectful environment.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is nicely laid out, and even though it is small it feels very spacious. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The linens were high quality. The water view is so pleasant. Our only problem was the key pad on the front door. We never could make it work and we had to phone Vacasa for help. Fortunatley a second key lock also had a key in it that we could use.
