Soak up Long Beach Island from Our Relaxing Bay Side Retreat!

This meticulous property is the perfect home base for enjoying everything that the Island has to offer!
Our light and airy home is located on West Harrington Avenue, Bayside. Just a five minute walk to the beach. It's tastefully decorated, has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, an eat in kitchen with all the essentials, including a dish washer, a clothes washer, heat and central air conditioning, a living room with cable, a Blu-Ray player, plus internet service.
It also has a 10'X21' deck with some bay view. Relax with a drink on your own private deck, and enjoy barbecuing your favorite meal on the gas grill. All this after using the 'awesome' outside shower!!!
Stroll to the bay at the end of the block and enjoy L.B.I.'s renowned sunsets; and why not throw in a few crab nets and try your luck.
Leave the car and let the LBI shuttle take you to all of the attractions, restaurants and stores the island has to offer!

Nice Vacation House

My family and I stayed here for the 4th of July week. The house was just as described. It’s located in a quiet family neighborhood and close to the bay for beautiful sunset views. The owners of the property were very helpful and friendly and let us store some belongings in the garage. We all enjoyed our stay!

BRANT BEACH COZY RETREAT BY THE SEA!

OUR RETREAT BY THE SEA WAS EVERYTHING WE HAD HOPED IT WOULD BE. CLEAN AND COZY AND CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. IT WAS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO THE BAY AND THE OCEAN. WE HAD ALL THE COMFORTS OF HOME AND WERE CLOSE TO SHOPS, RESTAURANTS AND BEACH HAVEN AMUSEMENTS. WE ENJOYED THE QUIET SOLITUDE OF THIS NEIGHBORHOOD AND THE BEACH IS BEAUTIFUL! WE CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK TO OUR RETREAT BY THE SEA!

A Perfect LBI Vacation Spot!

Our experience with the house and the owners was outstanding! House was beautiful, clean and well maintained. Good location with close proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Neighborhood was quiet. There was a nice park with a jungle gym for the kids and even a bay-side swimming area all within close walk from the house. If you are looking for the “traditional” LBI experience, this place was perfect!

We had a wonderful vacation at Chic and Marilyn’s LBI home. We had access to everything we needed including WiFi, full kitchen, full bathroom, living room, 2 bedrooms (3 beds total), and a washing machine. It is very clean and perfectly decorated and has a beautiful private deck area off of the back of the home with an additional dining area and a convenient outdoor shower to remove sand after the beach. We had complete privacy in our unit and deck. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach. We had the pleasure of meeting Marilyn who is an absolutely wonderful host!

Family of four getaway

Great location There is bay view park just two blocks up for paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming Cross LBI Blvd to get to the beach Not having a dryer was really difficult for our family of four - it’s a necessity in my book And the bathroom is very small Marilyn and Chik were lovely And were very accommodating They allowed us to put our pricy bikes in the garage and store out paddle boards, surfboards, Kan jam etc at the house

Clean, easy, relaxing

We had such a nice time staying at this rental. The owners are so friendly and made us feel at home right away. Inside was clean and felt spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed. A little strange they had a washer but no dryer but there is a clothesline outside. The back deck was the best part- nice and shaded with a view of the bay. We work remotely and spent every day out there on our laptops. Beach is two blocks away so super easy to get to. Even though there aren’t any restaurants within walking distance the LBI shuttle is very convenient when we didn’t want to drive. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location & experience

We really enjoyed the experience! Chic & Marilyn - the owners take care of a great 2 family home. It has a great porch, outdoor shower, and very well maintained interior. The apartment was large enough for our family. While we have 4 kids, they were comfortably bunked up as they are a bit younger. We loved the location, as other reviews note - it's very close to the Bay Beach. And walkable to the ocean as well. And of course shopping, restaurants, etc. etc. THANKS so much for the wonderful stay, especially this year - respite was needed & received.

Wonderful visit

We had a great week in LBI. The house was perfect for our family of 4. Clean and nicely decorated. Close to 68th Street beach and beautiful partial bay view from the back deck. Chic and Marilyn were wonderful and very accommodating. We would love to stay here again!

We loved our stay here. Chic and Marilyn were so friendly and helpful. They really made us feel welcome. We ate outside on the porch every night and the proximity to the regular beach, the bay beach and the playground was perfect for our young family. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful bay sunsets

We had a wonderful time at this property. Everything we needed and Marilyn and Chic are wonderful...very nice and accommodating. It’s located near the bay so we enjoyed beautiful sunsets, and close to the beach. Our second time staying, and we would stay again.

I enjoyed my stay.

The home is located on the bay side, only a 5 minute walk to the beach. I was blessed with 6 out of 7 sunny days, so I spent very little time inside. When I was inside, the home met my needs. The living room sofas, there are 2, and the bed were comfortable. Thankfully this rental comes with air which made the humid nights bearable. I walked up and down the island and always felt safe, especially at night. If you’re looking for a nice home, with a good location at a fair price, I would recommend this property.

Very nice place to vacation

We spent a week in July at the house. It was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen, and has a lovely deck. We enjoyed a wonderful cross breeze many days and some AC to help with still humid days. The owners were very kind, helpful, and quiet (they live upstairs). We enjoyed the Bay beach around the corner and it was a perfect place to do some open water swimming across the bay and back as well as play on the playground for our little one. Although we didn't love how busy the main street is (have to cross it to get to surf beach), it was close to restaurants, shops, and museums in Beach Haven. It was also easy to walk to the end of the quiet street and feed the ducks and watch the sunset when we wanted a quiet evening at the water. We would happily return to this rental!

It was a beautiful place, spacious and clean with a great deck!

Chic and Marilyn were wonderful. Making the reservation was easy and they responded quickly to all questions. They were very gracious hosts and went out of their way to make our vacation a great one! The place is full of light and nicely decorated. The location is on a nice quiet street near the bay, conveniently located to the ocean, restaurants and stores.

Nice place and a very good value.

We rent in LBI every year and even though it was farther down the island than we usually stay, it was an excellent option. Nice place, clean, breezy, helpful owners and best of all, a good value. Definitely recommend it as a good option for a family of four.

We can't get enough of all the activities LBI has to offer. We love the beaches and the bay; we especially love to fish from our boat, crab and clam. Nothing beats getting together with all of the friends we've made on the Island.

Why they chose this property

We've been coming to LBI since the early 90's. We started by renting this house seasonally every year for five years; and then we bought the house from our landlord. We grew to love the Harrington House like it was our home. So when our landlord decided to sell, we jumped at the opportunity to make it our own.

What makes this property unique

We just love the bay breezes, the smell of the salt air, the close proximity to the beach, taking an outside shower, barbecuing on the grill, and enjoying a cocktail on a nice size deck!
