The Space:
Tastefully furnished in true Portland fashion, this 3BR apartment boasts a unique charm.
The apartment is a cozy and relaxed daylight basement, with large windows allowing plenty of natural light and a comfy mattress to lay down on. Those rainy days are perfect for cuddling up and watching movies on the 65" LED flat-screen Smart TV. You will have access to Xfinity and Netflix, and blazing fast WiFi for other streaming.
There is an ensuite bedroom with queen bed, own bathroom & 2 more bedrooms (1 queen, 1 queen bunk bed) down a hallway with common area full bath in hallway.
If you feel like eating in, there's an equipped kitchen to easily host your crew. After spending the day walking, shopping, and eating, this is an easy spot for a soft landing at the end of the day. My apartment has wall heating in the bedrooms so you can stay warm in the winter and an A/C split in the living/dining room to keep you cool in summer!

The Neighborhood:
Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District places you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors—no chain restaurants here! Enjoy vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for an elegant night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch.
But Portland isn’t just for foodies. The vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with a multitude of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques, making it a true hipster haven. Catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews.
If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor. This 196-acre city park, located atop a dormant volcano vent, offers miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city, providing a perfect escape into nature right within the city limits. Whether you're a foodie, a nature enthusiast, or someone who loves exploring unique shops, the Hawthorne/Buckman District has something special for everyone.
Getting Around:
🚶 Walking — This neighborhood sits between the Division and Hawthorne corridors, two of Portland's best streets for dining and shopping — both within easy walking distance.

Great location, clean apartment! No hot water was the biggest disappointment. If you are a light sleeper, you will have a rough go, this is a basement appt.
