The neighborhood is conveniently located 40 minutes from both DFW Airport and Love Field Airport, and just 17 miles east of downtown Dallas, near the intersection of Interstate 30 and the President George Bush Turnpike. The 116-acre Sapphire Bay Peninsula serves as the gateway to the City of Rowlett and is surrounded by 2 miles of shoreline in the center of Lake Ray Hubbard.

Beautiful place directly on lake

We had a wonderful time while visiting family in the area. The townhouse is new, quiet, comfortable, and located in a safe area in Rowlett. The hosts were accommodating and kind and easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again when in the area!

Nice, seemingly new property. Quiet and peaceful. Great views of Lake Ray Hubbard. Sunsets are beautiful! Back door is literally 15 feet from shoreline. I stepped out the back door and within 5 mins caught a catfish. Furnishings were quite nice. Appliances seemed brand new. Fully stocked kitchen. Nice granite kitchen island. Minh the property manager is wonderful. Overall a very nice relaxing stay, the only minor issue is we could not get primary suite to get as cool at night when sleeping as we like, but it was not a big issue after we turned on ceiling fan.

New and only going to get better

The property was perfect! We had Thanksgiving with our family and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was extremely clean and well stocked with toiletries, towels, paper towels, and toilet paper. Our dogs are right at the weight limit and medium sized. The area still needs some work on landscaping. It was very hard to find grass for our dogs. The location by the water was a beautiful way to start and end our day. It’s also very close to 30 which made it very easy to get from place to place. Don’t expect food options on this exit. Must travel on 30 for food options but only 5-10 minutes. Would definitely stay again!
