Love this place! We’ve stayed here twice now for the motorcycle rally and it’s been such a great place both times! We love the convenience to the main road, the quiet countryside, clean amenities and a comfortable atmosphere, with versatility! Definitely will be staying again in the future!

A Quiet Reset by the Lake

We arrived wound tight and left softer. The cabin gave us exactly what we needed: hot tub time under the evening sky, good food, easy mornings, and room to just be together. A few unhurried conversations, a little shopping in town, and plenty of laughter and closeness made the weekend feel like a true exhale. Simple, comfortable, and restorative. We already want to come back.

I’ve stayed at this property twice now and love it. Kim is always super responsive and proactively communicates. Always fun to relax on the screened in deck, front porch, or around the fire pit making smores.

Quiet secluded peaceful retreat stay for our anniversary!! Loved the outdoor speakers and the hot tub! Bed was very comfortable!! Enjoyed hot coffee on the porch in the mornings taking in the scenery!

Glad you enjoyed your Birthday long weekend at the Tryon Shouse. It truly is a peaceful gem surrounded by trees and wildlife. So close to the action of Osage Beach and restaurants yet tucked between the Villages and Porto Cima and less than .5 mile off HwyMM, so all paved roads to the house. Come back anytime!

The Shouse “Under The Stars” is perfect location for those who want privacy, a large driveway, a soak in the screened in jacuzzi, and/or a night around the smokeless fire pit under the stars. The Shouse Under the Stars is such a unique property! Close to everything. A short drive from Hwy MM. Screened in porch with a hot tub facing the woods on all four sides of the house. Well stocked wood burning smokeless fire pit for amazing views under the stars. Wide concrete driveway. Immaculate inside with spacious rooms and high end furniture. Everything you need for a great weekend away at the lake.

A Relaxing Reset at Our Favorite Lake of the Ozarks Cabin

We just spent the most magical weekend at our favorite cabin on the Lake of the Ozarks (March 27–29, 2026) and it was exactly what we needed. The weather was perfect—sunny days with a crisp chill at night—and the hot tub under the stars became our favorite spot. The cabin feels truly private, nestled in the woods with a peaceful screened-in patio that made every conversation and quiet moment feel sacred. We laughed, talked about life, and reconnected in ways we hadn’t in a long time. There’s something about this place that gently slows you down and reminds you why you fell in love. We left feeling rested, closer, and grateful. If you’re looking for a romantic, intimate getaway where you can truly unplug and reconnect, this cabin is pure magic. Highly recommend for any couple wanting to press pause on everyday life and remember what matters most. We can’t wait to come back.

Perfect Winter Escape!

We fell in love with Tyron Shouse Under the Stars on our first weekend getaway, so returning in December 2025 felt like coming home to our favorite cozy retreat. This time, with early winter chills setting in and really cold weather outside, it was the ideal excuse to hibernate in pure relaxation—my husband and I barely left the property! The beautiful, private house welcomed us once again with its stunning decor and every amenity imaginable. We spent our days cooking delicious homemade meals in the fully equipped kitchen (think hearty soups, fresh-baked goodies, and romantic dinners by candlelight), then curling up for marathon sessions of funny movies—lots of laughter to chase away the winter blues. Of course, the star of the show remained that incredible hot tub on the screened-in porch. Steaming hot water contrasting with the crisp, cold air? Absolute heaven! Bug-free and private, it was magical soaking under the clear winter night sky. We did venture out briefly for some Christmas shopping at the nearby stores and eateries—super convenient and got us in the holiday spirit. Our wonderful hostess made us feel so welcomed again, checking in thoughtfully and ensuring everything was perfect. This place is a year-round gem, but in winter, it's extra special for a low-key, rejuvenating stay. We left feeling completely relaxed and already planning trip number three. If you're looking for privacy, comfort, and romance—no matter the season—book Tyron Shouse Under the Stars. You won't be disappointed!
