White Spruce Cottage features an open floor plan with spacious 9 foot ceilings throughout the home. WSC is unique, with all three bedrooms located on the first floor and the main living area located on the second floor.



The master suite contains a king bed, Smart-TV with Netflix, large closet, and a private master bath. The master bedroom boasts a wall of windows so occupants can enjoy the outstanding mountain views.

Bedroom two contains a queen bed, a Smart-TV with Netflix, and closet.

Bedroom three contains a queen bed with a twin trundle, a Smart-TV with Netflix, and closet.

The main bathroom is situated between bedrooms two and three. A laundry room is also conveniently located on the first floor.

The open second story contains a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a large living room, a covered porch, and a deck complete with a 6-person hot tub.

The kitchen boasts rustic maple cabinets and brand new stainless steel appliances. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining area, complete with a large dining table and sideboard.

The living room features a 55 in flat screen Smart-TV with Netflix, sleeper sofa, and multiple chairs situated around the room for comfort and convenience. The living room contains a wall of windows that face Whiteface Mountain and the surrounding ranges.

The second story living space also contains a cozy sitting area near a gas fireplace.

The second story covered porch and hot tub deck are accessible from the living room as well as from an outside staircase.

A fire pit with chairs, a picnic table, and a charcoal picnic grill is located at the rear of the property, accessible by the first floor entrance.

A parking area is located behind the house, with a stone walkway to the lanai and the front door.

The entire house is heated with in-floor radiant heat, cooled with mini-split AC units in each room, and is equipped with free Wi-Fi, Netflix, two DVD players, games, puzzles, books, and more.

We do have a Ring doorbell installed at WSC to provide guests with an added layer of safety and security. It is located by the front door. If you have any issues entering the home you can certainly ring the doorbell and we will assist! There are NO cameras inside the home.

Guests at White Spruce Cottage

White Spruce Cottage is designed to host FOUR TO SIX overnight guests, depending on seasons and rates. Please understand that our community has STR laws that limit the number of guests that can be housed in each bedroom overnight. Yes, you are welcome to host a dinner, have a campfire, and enjoy visitors; however please use discretion with extra overnight guests. In addition, please be honest with the number of guests you have at the home. We do not charge extra for six guests compared to two, but it terms of housekeeping, there is a significant difference in time it takes to clean the home. Knowing the correct number of guests is extremely helpful!

Pets at White Spruce Cottage

Pets are welcome at the home, however, we do charge a one time $35 pet fee. We all love our pets (I have two dogs!!), but there is extra cleaning involved that is beyond a normal clean. If you are bringing a pets, please be sure to click the box on the reservation page.

Cleaning at White Spruce Cottage

At White Spruce Cottage we are committed to your health and safety, and are following strict guidelines for cleaning.

We clean and disinfect all hard surfaces as well as frequently touched surfaces with Lysol, disinfecting wipes, or disinfecting spray-cleaner. Every cleaner that we have for the home (multi-purpose cleaner, bathroom cleaner, granite cleaner, furniture polish, etc.) are all disinfecting cleaners that are labeled to kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.

All bed sheets and white comforters are washed in hot water and bleach.

Towels are all washed in hot water and bleach.

Items such as table place-mats and decorative pillow covers are either washed or changed for clean items. Soft surfaces, such as sofas, chairs, decorative pillows and curtains are disinfected with disinfecting sprays such as Lysol.

The hot tub cover and sides are disinfected and the tub chemicals are balanced prior to each arrival.

White Spruce Cottage is located 3.5 miles from Whiteface Mountain Ski Center and 12.5 miles from Lake Placid.
