We had the most amazing trip thanks to our host! The home was the perfect spot to bring our families together, plenty of space and sleeping, TONS of activities and easy private creek access. The property was clean spacious and secluded. We felt right at home and cannot wait to book again next summer for another unforgettable weekend

Outstanding place

Took my family here and couldn’t be any happier with my stay. The place was really clean, great location on the pine creek, and plenty to do in the area. Backyard setup is perfect for a fire and relaxation.

The water pressure was a problem all week. Showers would shut off every time for a few minutes then come back on. The sinks were the same. I feel the game room and third bathroom should be more clearly defined as a detached building. The view and outdoor spaces were incredible!

Work Getaway

Was pleased with the property. The only time spent inside was to cook or sleep. The majority of the weekend was spent around the fire pit and under the patio on the grill. Great rail trail system running thru the front of the property. Did spend some time on the water with the provided kayaks. Would stay here again.

April Getaway

This cabin was everything we needed and more. What was supposed to be a sunny weekend turned into more of a spring shower kind of weekend, but this house didn’t disappoint! Between the game room and the yard space, the kids didn’t miss out on anything due to the weather. The trees over the fire pit allowed the adults to relax around the fire in the middle of the drizzle. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

50th Wedding Anniversary & Christmas Visit

The house was a perfect setting for a family celebration of Christmas and a 50th Wedding Anniversary of our parents. The country farm house had plenty of bedrooms, a large kitchen, and dining room was perfect accommodations. The setting against the creek and mountains was picturesque. First floor bedroom and walk in shower with rails was perfect for elderly mother. Separate game room was fun for grandkids. Big kids (parents) liked the paved fire pit. Highly recommend and would consider return visit with excellent communication from host

Fantastic February Long Weekend Getaway

We wanted a place to stay along Pine Creek with our three grown children, their spouses and 6 granddaughters (ages 15, 12, 10, 7, 5 and 4). It was perfect. The girls loved the adjacent game room and when the little ones weren’t there the 15 year old loved it for a little alone time. We loved walking on the rail trail, hiking behind the Hotel Manor and other trails. We even had some snow that I could cross country ski. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would love to come again to enjoy kayaking and tubing in Pine Creek. Thank you so much!

Peaceful setting

We had a wonderful time during our 3 day weekend. There were seven women in our group. We are high school friends now in our 50’s meeting up for a girls’ weekend. We had plenty of space. We enjoyed the fire pit, the side cabin and the large dining room table. The beds were comfortable. The showers were clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our snacks and meals. The bike trail is amazing although we just went for walks on it. The nearby Country Store is cute and we each made a few purchases there. There is also a bar/restaurant within walking distance called Hotel Manor. People were fly fishing on Pine Creek. We hope to stay here again next year.

Bald Eagle Lodge has an absolute perfect location, right between the Pine Creek and the bike trail. It was extremely convenient with many kids. We could access both without loading up bikes or kayaks. Other amenities that we appreciated were all the outside games, extra kayaks, volleyball court, pickleball court, sheets and towels provided, etc.The layout of the main cabin was a little disappointing - two small living rooms and no place where we could all fit to eat inside. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful and we ate most of our meals outside. The kitchen was also lacking a bit as far as silverware and measuring cups and spoons, and place to store your food. While it felt clean on the surface, it could use a good deep cleaning. The game room was beautiful but the main house needs some updates/repairs.
