Unbeatable location

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Playa Turquesa is the perfect location to explore the El Cortecito area. The unit is newly renovated, beautiful, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed, and there were plenty of towels. Communication with the property manager was also prompt. Thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful condo on amazing Bavaro beach

Had a lovely stay with family at this wonderfully appointed, spacious condo just steps from the beach! Gina our host & her management team, Brenda & Markitto were so helpful and made the stay extremely enjoyable! The condo was so comfortable & had everything you could need. The community is also very safe and we felt comfortable allowing our teens on the beautiful beach by themselves during the day. It is so close to wonderful restaurants & markets, when we didn’t cook in the well equipped kitchen we walked to delicious restaurants. Would definitely highly recommend!

The condo was very comfortable and well located however, We had no access to the beach area due to a great accumulation of sea weed and very bad smell; we were never informed of this phenomenon. Electricity was extremely expense in comparison to the averages given. Elevators have no sensors working so a child can easily be hurt by a closing door. We had no air conditioner in one of the rooms for a whole day and night. owner was responsive to our needs and had it fixed.

Dear Gloria, we thank you for your stay at our condo this July 2025. We are really sorry about the terrible experience you had regarding the Sargassum weeds. Unfortunately, this is an entire coastal area problem due to the ocean cleansing itself during the couple of hot summer months. I assure you the management works painstakingly each day to clear the weeds daily early mornings from our shores so the beach is clear and clean the rest of the day. This accumulation of weeds is seasonal in the couple of months during the hot weather. This year, unfortunately the occurrence of Sargassum was, unexpectedly, unusually much higher than the last few years which was very mild. We apologies for not being able to give prior warning as it was a very unforeseen, unexpected overly large accumulation this year, unfortunately. Most visitors book during the best months between September to June that is Sargassum free. Regarding the elevators, they are very safe and unlike the newer elevators these close very slow giving enough time to go in and out. Playa Turquesa is a family community with small children. There has never been any incident due to elevator accidents. However, please note a child under 5 must never be allowed to enter or exit any elevator without an adult being accompanied regardless of the sensors, to ensure safety of a child always. If you love the ocean, this condo is for you!From the beginning, our host Gina was great to work with. She answered all our questions promptly. On the ground, Tanja, Helene and Ismael were exceptionally helpful in making sure we had everything we needed for a stress free holiday.The condo is very well appointed with everything you need to live well. The recent renovation is beautifully done and the condo is brightly decorated. Linens are good quality and everything is very comfortable. Both inside and out there is seating for 6 people to dine and a nice BBQ on the patio.The view from this condo is exceptional! Being on the 4th floor allows for an incredible expanse of ocean view... and since we were there in February we were able to see Humpback Whales right from the patio!The grounds of Playa Turquesa are very nice. The complex is closely guarded and is very safe and secure. The security staff are very helpful and attentive. Gardens are well maintained as are the pools. The beach is lovely and the grounds keepers work hard to keep the sargasm under control on the beach. The surrounding village of Los Corales provides easy access to a lot of great restaurants, shops and markets. Taking an Uber ride to a larger grocery store was very easy or you can simply walk to a local market.Overall, our stay was exceptional! We really enjoyed all aspects of this condo and do not hesitate to highly recommend it. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!J&C

Julia and Chris are wonderful people. Very pleasant! We were very happy to have them stay the whole month at our condo unit and delighted to have them as our guest. They kept the place super clean and followed all the rules of the condominium complex. We welcome them to visit us again.
