Located directly across from Lost Valley Resort, a long standing favorite resort in Minnesota, this cabin is perfect as a additional rental space for growing families to make new traditions.

Golf courses abound, antique shops galore, closeby flea markets. Or just make some coffee tea or cocktails and enjoy the water right out your door.

Take the canoe out across the lake for a milk shake or a delicious burger basket at Lost Valley Resort. Have a boat? Bring it along and pull up to your private dock and go fishing, skiing, wakeboarding anytime you desire on this quiet lake.

Perfect stay on the lake

This was a perfect cabin for me and my three young(ish) kids! We didn’t use much of their amenities as we had our own boat and kayaks, but there was a dock, canoe, fire pit, lawn chairs, board games, DVD’s, satellite and WiFi, so we would have been able to stay entertained in good or bad weather. Would definitely stay again! There is no air conditioning, but plenty of fans and the cabin is very shaded and breezy, so it never felt hot, even though we had some pretty warm days while there.

Charming cabin on a quiet lake

Nice and clean, Fun old fashion decorating and bright place with lots of windows. Beds comfy except that top bunk mattress. Nice lake for fishing. We went out on the canoe and visited Detroit Lakes which is nearby.

Great 4th of July

We had a great time and enjoyed watching the loons and all the fish around the dock. Our grandchildren had a great time in the water tubing. My brother lives on the lake so we used his place also for a great family reunion. Wonderful time

My family and I loved everything about this little cabin and lake. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we could have needed and the view was outstanding! Brent was very easy to work with and very accommodating.

Great stay with my young family

We had a great time! This cabin is so lovely and we really enjoyed it. Trowbridge Lake is centrally located in the Detroit Lakes area so it was very convenient! Brent and Debbie were great to rent from and they were also quick to respond to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Neat and tidy cabin with the comforts of home and a great lake for swimming and kneeboarding :)

This cabin was very clean and well maintained. Fully stocked kitchen...even bags of coffee beans in the freezer and a grinder to use with the coffee pot! The yard and flower garden was beautiful...great grill and new picnic table too...lots of nice seating to enjoy the morning cup of coffee while viewing a glassy lake! Enjoyed watching and listening to nature...loons, geese, eagles, and chipmunks. Great boating on the lake...not too busy so lots of room for wakeboarding, kneeboarding, jetskiing, sailing, and swimming! Nice dock to tie up the boat, and a great set of steps with railings from the dock into the sandy-bottomed lake...very safe and easy to use for all ages! Also, we enjoyed a nicely set up fire pit and ceramic fire pot for some marshmallow roasting and "Smores" :-) The pictures shown do represent the cabin and property well, but it looks and feels even better in person! The owner is easy to reach and responds quickly to all questions...very helpful and nice to deal with. Our six family members ranging in age from 19 to 83 (three generations) loved this warm and cozy cabin on Trowbridge Lake...we hope to return next summer for some more fun and add to our "memories bank."

Our family has owned a cabin nearby for 50 years. We have our best memories on this lake and hope to share it with other families.

Why they chose this property

Our whole family thinks this lake is paradise, with an excellent clarity score with the state, it is large enough to ski on, but quiet enough to relax and feel like you are on vacation. It is a friendly, family-oriented lake with many of the same original families still owning property here.

What makes this property unique

Amazing lake views, easy water access, steps to the cabin, just a couple easy steps the the water. This cabin has been tastefully renovated to deliver a comfortable, but cozy vacation for all.
