The place was not very well kept and not very clean. The worst part of the stay was how the place was heated. The down stairs was very cold, and the upstairs was like a suana. The heat would not turn off becuase of how cold it was downstairs so it made it hard to get good rest when it was so hot upstairs.

Definitely quiet, but older home
The house was very spacious with lots of room to spread out. It was a good place for a quick stay - TVs and fans in each bedroom but it was extremely hot on the 2nd level. The host left lots of little notes around the house which was endearing and personal. It had a "lived in" feel and felt much older. It definitely needs a good scrub down and deep cleaning - crumbs, bugs, and spiders (dead and alive). It was nice that there were 2 bathrooms, and the washer/dryer was a huge plus. We didn't stay long, so we hardly used the kitchen or anything else. Overall, it was a decent stay for just needing a place to sleep but beware that it is a very old home with lots of wear and tear. Communication with host was good.
The house was extremely comfortable and there was plenty of space. The host provided us with complimentary snacks and had a lot of games to keep us active! *big plus* The neighborhood was pretty quiet even though it’s a little close to the airport but you can’t hear them really when you’re inside the house so that didn’t impact anything. It was about 20 minutes from downtown Detroit and the pricing was very reasonable. Would definitely stay again!
