Very nice condo and very well kept building. Great location for being more away from the crowds. Only minor issue was fridge wasn't very cold and the ice maker didn't work. Everything else though was fantastic. The balcony gave you the ability to see sunrise and sunset this time of year. Highly recommend.

This unit is probably the best one we’ve stayed in at LaPlaya. Main living area is very comfortable with wall to wall views of the gulf to the sound. You can see clearly all the way to Pensacola. That was especially impressive when the Blue Angels had practice. All bedrooms were private and comfortable. The only negative we experienced was the oven did not appear to work properly, but that can be fixed.

Super smooth working with the host, Luxury Coastal Vacations. We have rented their properties before and they are consistently great with all communications and have quick responses. The property is to die for, views even better than pix. Wrap around balcony allows you to enjoy as much sun and breeze as you like (or don't) by moving from 1 section of the balcony to another throughout the day. Very comfy outdoor furnishings. Master bed very comfy, living area so inviting, large well appointed kitchen. . Everything about staying here was easy and excellent. Surely hope to come back!

2nd Time Staying Here

My family and I love this location and the condo has great views. The only item of concern, which was the same thing from our first trip, is the icemaker doesn't work in the fridge. They had ordered a part and installed but this did not fix the issue. Would recommend a new fridge as the doors tend to stay open as well. Other than that we love the condo and the beach. Would definetly stay there again.

One of our favorite vacations!

This was our 2nd time staying at this condo & we will definitely be back! The views from the balcony are just amazing & I love that you can see water from almost every window. It’s very comfortable & homey- our family loves it. We had a minor issue with one of the toilets not flushing & a clogged sink, but maintenance came out very quickly & fixed everything up. We love this property & can’t wait to come back!

Great first time in Perdido

First let me say that we had a very good vacation. La Playa is a great place. Quiet, beautiful pool, easy access to the beach. A concern is that the property is getting dated. It was comfortable but there need to be upgrades if the price is going to be that of a premium property. There need to be pillow tops put on the double beds. we were sleeping directly on the mattress under the sheet, it needs paint, it needs a new toaster, the decor, furniture, drapes, and shades all really need to a makeover. The 850 sq feet of decking is amazing but the patio furniture is in need of new cushions. Overall our visit was comfortable, but it needs to be updated and made more current. I will stay at La Playa again but I might request a more updated condo.

Thanksgiving in Perdido

Awesome location. Very spacious condo. Beautiful deck. We would certainly stay here again. Condo could use some freshening up..paint touch up etc. The only real complaint that is no fault of the owner was that the cleaning crew did a poor job. We will see you again La Playa 901.

Perdido Trip 2019

The views from the oversized balcony of LaPlaya 901 are absolutely incredible & made our trip so enjoyable. We truly had an amazing vacation. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star rating is because there are a few items that need attention in the condo. The balcony door does not lock, master br door not only doesn’t lock but also is being held open with a small bar of soap, Master bed was super comfy on the left side but completely sunken on the right side and in need of replacement, and a few other small items that needed attention. For the price being paid, I was a little disappointed that there were so many small things in need of attention. We paid half the price for a condo next door to LaPlaya last year that was immaculately clean & kept. Condo above us also had 10+ people staying in it so the noise level all week was through the roof, although I am absolutely aware there is nothing that could have been done about that & probably isn’t likely to happen on most weeks. That being said, if those tiny items were taken care of we would absolutely stay @ LaPlaya 901 again in the future.

This condo is freaking amazing. There’s an ocean view from pretty much every window. Wrap around balcony is awesome. Place is super clean and well maintained. Beach is just a short walk . This place is far better than places we’ve stayed in Destin . The traffic in the area is light compared to Destin. We’ve been going to Destin for a decade , but Perdido Key is the place to go for a relaxing stress free vacation. We plan to rent from this same owner in the near future . I can’t say enough awesome things about this place!

Our week in LaPlaya 901 was very nice. We missed the chaise loungers on the balcony as displayed in photos. There was an “issue” with our elevator that once we got off, we didn’t get back on! Also, when the month changed middle week, we were outside the gate entrance to LaPlaya for 30 minutes while calls were made. After 2 or 3 codes, we were given an override code that worked for the rest of our stay. This is the first time in many years that we experienced some problems. However having said that, we love LaPlaya, and will continue to return for our yearly trip to Perdido.

Great Week in a Beautiful Condo

First, the condo is very spacious and immaculate. Second, the VIEWS! The wrap around patio is amazing with overstuffed teak seating and dining option. The main living area included full floor to ceiling windows to enjoy open ocean view. The views didn't stop there; with bay views from the breakfast area and two bedrooms. We had six adults and never felt crowded. Definitely going to return!

Second Time Around

This condo is absolutely wonderful, so much room and very nice amenities. The kitchen is well stocked and the balcony is to die for! This property offers spacious rooms and is perfect for extended families which enjoy staying together. Luxury Coastal Vacations was extremely attentive to minor issues and the security personnel was friendly and helpful. Beach access is easy and the pool area was never crowded or noisy even though they are located right next to the public beach entryway. We will definitely book here again as it has become our favorite after visiting the gulf coast for the past 20 years. We have stayed in Navarre Beach and Orange Beach, but nothing compares to LaPlaya. We do bring our own food but did happen to eat out twice, Shrimp Basket and The Oyster House...Being from south Louisiana, the menus resemble most foods that we are familiar with...seafood is fresh and the staff is super friendly. Although there is nothing negative to say about this fabulous place, parking can be an issue as there is only one assigned parking space per unit. We did use the public parking area again this year, but hope this issue is resolved in the future! Love, love, love LaPlaya!!! We even inquired about the living room furniture and were pleasantly surprised at how the owner and staff of the booking agent responded to our request! Can't ask for a better experience, you will not be disappointed! Our second time around was much too short!!!

After vacationing along the Emerald Coast for many years, we absolutely loved this unit! Extremely spacious and nicely furnished with the largest balcony ever! Because we bring lots of home cooked meals, the pots and pans were more than adequate for our needs. We also had 3 vehicles in our family group and were a little concerned with the one provided parking space, but the adjacent public parking wasn't a real problem. This condo and property is a gem and should definitely be on your list if you plan to visit Perdido Key! Fabulous views, fabulous condo! The owners outdid themselves!!!

As good as it gets!

Our family just got back from our 8th annual vacation in Perdido Key. LaPlaya is one of the 5 different condo's we have stayed and we rate it as one of the best if not the top! The location is perfect. The unit is decorated and furnished with taste and has everything you could ask for. As others have noted, the balcony and view is awesome and the beach very close. Other places we have stayed had a long bridge to the beach, this one is short and my bad knees were very happy about that! Great place and if you decide to stay at this condo, please respect it and help keep it a nice as it is today! It's a "gem".
