fantastic, spacious holiday villa with great facil

We went on our first family holiday to this villa with our young baby. We had a great stay, very relaxing but still able to get out and walk up to tala square for a meal or drinks at Mario's! Was lovely to stay in such luxury and the pool heating meant that we could use the pool daily. We would love to stay again and would certainy recommend it to any other young family. Peter, Jane and the welcome team were all fantastic with the information given before we went and also when we were there

Review of secluded villla

We spent a very relaxed week at this villa. It was very well equipped and very tastefully furnished. It was a pleasant walk into town and the property was well maintained. The nearest beach was 10 minutes away and was very sandy but quite busy so it depends what you're after. We went at the end of July and it was exceptionally hot!

Fantastic villa with lovely outdoor space

Great villa, one of the best that we have stayed in. Great outdoor space to enjoy the afternoon sun and stunning sun sets - loved the outdoor bean bag to relax and recline on. Great base to explore Paphos and Latchi. The information provided by Jane and Peter was fab - this started from our booking right through to our stay, this really added to the anticipation of our visit. Recommendations for great Restaurants really made a difference too. We would definitely recommend this villa.

Beautiful villa and amazing views

We booked a holiday with our 3 children to Cyprus having found Villa Hunter online and we are so glad we dropped on such a beautiful villa in a beautiful location of Cyprus. Peter and Jane who own the villa are just so helpful wih all their helpful reviews of local restaurants, things to do etc. The villa has everything you need and is so spacious. The kids loved playing in the pool as did we also. Would definitely go back. Thank you Peter and Jane for allowing us to stay in your amazing villa. Love the Lomas family

Fantastic well equiped villa with beautiful views

A big thank you to Peter & Jane, we had an amazing holiday! The villa was just perfect with beautiful views, immaculately clean, such comfortable beds, tastefully furnished and so well equipped. You really have though of everything! We enjoyed many lovely meals out locally, Mario's was a great place for cocktails most nights & very reasonably priced. a luxurious holiday

We are a middle aged couple who rented this Villa last June; although bigger than we needed, it was worth every penny for the luxury it afforded. It has been finished to an exceedingly high standard and its cleanliness is outstanding. It is a 15 minute walk to a few restaurants in the village but if you have a car there is a variety of restaurants in the area to the usual high Cypriot standard. Of course the BBQ is fabulous with such great local meat available. Peter and Jane offer all the information you could possibly need for an enjoyable peaceful holiday

Absolutly Fantastic

This was our first ( and definatly not last ) time in Cyprus, how we picked Tala, an amazing lovely village with fantastic restaurants I don't know, even more amazingly I don't know how we picked Villa Hunter, I am reluctant to write how lovely it is, in case we can't get booked next year ! Every morning I sat on the balcony with my coffee, the kids in the pool thinking a view cant get much better than this. The villa has everything you could wish for, heated pool, and the VIEW. Thankyou again and will rebook soon

wow

We would like to take this opportunity to say what a lovely time we had at Villa Hunter. The villa was very clean and tidy and decor very impressive. The views from the pool and bedroom are gorgous. (just a shame the remaining villas aren't finished around about). The location was ideal for Tala square where we spend most nights at Mario's bar and the gorgous restaurants around the square and Tala. We took along our parents with us and our 3 year old daughter whom all had a lovely time, infact I think it is the first holiday my dad has been on that he didn't want to come home.

We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Villa Hunter & Tala.It is great that guests see that the villa is furnished as you would expect at home 5* and love the great views and location. There are 2 viilas behind that are fully built but just need internal fittings and outside paint.The builder Makis is now a personal friend and is keeping the villas for his children which is very normal in cyprus and will only do any work in the winter.( more pictures available on our web site) You will no doubt meet his father who is the lord mayor of the village and his brother who ownes Marios bar. They are a lovely family and will make your stay very special. You will not notice the villa behind as your view is uninterupted towards the sea and we can guarantee there will be no work during your stay as Makis ensures your stay is not interupted and knows all our bookings. All our guests have never been disturbed through building as seen in the Reviews as Makis really helps to ensure guests are really welcome at the villa and Tala as our guests are really made personally welcome in the village.. Visit to Villa Hunter November 2008

Our holiday started when we got off the plane at Paphos.After picking up our hire car we used the very detailed directions provided by Peter(including pictures) to find our way to the villa.The villa was great and exceeded our expectations.The pool was heated to just the right temperature and was used every day.Gary who looked after the pool was really friendly and organised a greek night in Tala for us which was excellent.Tala is a feiendly little village which we frequented most evenings.Jane and Peter did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible and we would have no hesitation in reccomendinga visit to Villa Hunter

fabulous villa with pool overlooking Paphos

Had a brilliant week at Villa Hunter. Went to Paphos for a family wedding and decided to stay here rather than in a hotel. So glad we did! The villa was spacious and very well equipped. As a family with 5 adults in we could easily have been on top of each other but that was never the case here. There was plenty of space to chill out and relax either in the house or around the pool. We paid a small extra charge to have the pool heated as it was early May and we are glad we did! It was always a lovely 32 degrees! The standard of furnishing and equipment in the villa was top notch, very stylish and new. The service we received form Peter and Jane the owners was superb! Their recommendations for restaurants etc were great and their help organising taxis etc for us to go to the wedding was so thoughtful. Before we went Peter spoke to us on the phone, and talked us through the driving directions for finding the villa and told us about things going on locally. Excellent level of service! The villa itself is just on the edge of the village of Tala, it's within walking distance if you are fit enough for the walk uphill on the way back! There are excellent restaurants and bars in Tala and we had some great meals out. We'd recommend a car to stay in this villa as it's not close to public transport. There is parking and we used the car to go into Paphos itself as well as stocking up at the nearby supermarkets Carrefour, Aldi and the best one -The Garden of Eden. All about a 10 min drive away, with local shops nearer for daily stuff. We'd definitely stay there again if we go to Paphos. Brilliant!

Love Cyprus!

Cyprus! What a wonderful surprise! We arrived in Cyprus via Larnaca airport. Rented a car, drove to Tala.The drive was not a bad drive and gave us a good layout of Cyprus's terrain.Peter's directions were right on and the house was easy to find. The house is everything anyone could ask for. We wanted a relaxing environment and Hunter Villa was just what we were looking for. The rooms were perfect for all! The pool was nicely heated just as we requested. It was a little to cold to swim do to the outside temperature but by the end of our nine day stay the weather was perfect for the heated pool. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We had planned on cooking at least two meals a day..but with the wonderful food, great prices and fantastic wine we chose to eat out lunch and dinner! Cyprus is the place to go if you are afoodie! Which we are! Love the Cypriot dinners! Peter and Jane had sent us many ideas for restaurants. There is also a binder with restaurant cards at the house for restaurants in the area. They provide so much information that you could stay there a month and not have to research for a wonderful place to eat. Our favorite place in Tala was the Cypriot restaurant Melitzia Tavern (Do go before the sun sets to enjoy the views) We also enjoyed the Cypriot music at Voukani Tavern on the weekend the tavern is located below the hill from the house. We went on several day trips. One recommendation from Peter was to eat in Pissouri at Captain Bays. What a wonderful treat! You can eat wonderful seafood and watch the kids swim/play on the beach. We went to Pissouri after visiting Aphrodite rock.(A must see!)I could write so many great wonderful things! An overall view of Cyprus and Hunter Villa--Peter and Jane are wonderful hosts even from far away! They send so much info before so you are not overwhelmed trying to figure all things out. They have Donna to meet you the first day to go over everything in the house. They also have great friends two houses away. They were wonderful! Came by to make sure we were all ok and then took us to dinner in Paphos at a wonderful dinner spot that everyone needs to dine when in Paphos.(Ta Perix)The house is located a few minutes from many areas. You are centrally located to see Paphos and its historical sites, a few minutes from the local beach, and close to local restaurants that are not touristy so you get a feel of the real Cyprus. Hunter Villa is highly recommended for your next visit!

Great well equipped villa

The villa is very well appointed - and exactly as described . A modern lovely villa set just outside Tala inland from Coral Bay. Decor very tastefully done. The owners were very accommodating and helpful , including organising transfer to/from airport along with the use of their own car. Highly recommend for a lovely relaxing stay. Villa more suited for adults or older children (rather than pre-school )

Fantastic Villa & Service form Jane & Peter

What a great Villa . Amazing with lovely views over the Paphos coast . Villa Hunter has every thing you need for a comfortable stay and the owners have put together a good information file and even call you before you go to make sure you are ok . Plenty of places to visit only a short drive away . The Village of Tala is a good location not far from Paphos and the coast and has a good selection of Tavernas for the evening without driving to far.

Fantastic Villa & Service

Stunning villa a relaxing home from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hunter villa. The location is perfect and Tala utterly charming with lovely restaurants. The peace and quiet, beautiful views was the medicine we needed. Fantastic villa!

The villa was everything we had hoped for and more. The setting is so peaceful and the view is stunning. The location was perfect close enough to Tala so we could experience laid back village life but within easy driving distance of the more lively Paphos or Coral Bay. Fantastic villa & village

We stayed in Villa Hunter this May and had a fantastic holiday . The villa has everything for a great family holiday ,wifi,great TV system and films , music . However being just 2 of us we enjoyed the space of the villa and pool / gardens . The owners have thought of every thing you need for a comfortable & relaxing . The main bedroom has a huge queen size bed , very comfortable and goes out onto the veranda were we enjoyed breakfast and the lovely views over the coast . The heated pool was lovely and warm which was great for a midnight dip . While the gardens and views are just stunning , esp picking my your own lemons for the G&T . Tala was a great base , wiith welcoming taverns for a night out yet just a short drive to the beach . The village has recently had a major renovation with a lovely new village square yet maintains some lovely old buildings, church and monastery . The owners sent us lots of information and the communication was really helpful during the booking . They made our whole trip so simple with good directions and even took the time to call us before we went to talk us through the directions . They gave us some great restaurant tips all were fantastic , this really made our stay . I could go on but we really did have one of the best holidays ever . Many thanks and we will hopefully be back next year.

quality, peace, relaxation

From enquiry through to arriving back home, the owners maintained contact to ensure our second trip exceeded our first. Having a party of individuals who were vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters, our hosts researched local tavernas that offered a wide selection of food for all of our diets. The villa is THE place to base your holiday from. Luxery, well equipped, well located, safe. Handy for evening strolls to the local village, where Villa Hunter guests are welcomed. This was our second trip, will be going again
