10/10 This house was a perfect home away from home plus more: a great location, a comfortable setup and thoughtful amenities that made the stay feel easy from day one. The kitchen was immaculate and stocked with all the kitchen necessities including various spices to prepare a meal, which made cooking for our family a breeze. The host, Johna, was incredibly responsive and answered our questions in a timely manner. We truly had a fantastic stay! We will definitely stay here again when visiting Richmond.
Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location to get around Richmond. Host was prompt and polite answering all our questions. Kitchen had everything needed for a week's stay.

Greg was a great guest. He left the place spotless and was really good with communication. I’d be happy to host him again and highly recommend to other hosts.
Everything about our stay was A! The host was so communicative and helpful above and beyond expectations. The home was pristine, organized, cute and comfortable! It was like being in our own home. Everything that made it feel like a home was there. The location was superb! Parking was no problem and was walkable to many places.. it really was the best rental I have booked!
We were in town for a family funeral. Four adults stayed and there was plenty of room for all of us. 1st floor primary suite with walk in shower suited the elderly gentleman in our group. The upstairs had two bedrooms, one each end of a hallway with access to a second bath with walk in shower. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable with extra pillows and blankets available. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths that were very soft and thick. The kitchen was better equipped than my own kitchen with quality appliances, pots and pans, wine glasses, etc. There was nothing else that was needed during our stay. There was a variety of spices in the cabinet as well. There was a 4 person high table in the kitchen area overlooking the courtyard and another 6 person dining/activity table in the family room area. It was a great place to visit with family in the spacious family room. We were able to visit with all of our out of town family after the funeral comfortably. Everyone who came in was very impressed with the home and asked where we found it! Many said that it was the best VRBO they had ever seen. It certainly was for us. Getting into the house was easy with personalized codes for our visit. The driveway/parking area in back of the house easily fit our 3 cars and may have been able to fit more. The host kept in touch as needed to assist with anything we might need. She was a delight to work with and very kind.
I’ve loved staying in Airbnbs for years and began hosting in 2021.
I enjoy creating spaces where people can relax, reconnect, and feel at home while visiting Richmond. I love travel, good food, wine, craft breweries, festivals, hiking and learning about local culture though the people and places that make each city unique.

Why they chose this property
I LOVE the neighborhood. It feels quaint. It’s easy to go for a long walk and see very little traffic. The homes, landscaping and trees are beautiful! The people are friendly.
Being so close to Stella’s, Lafayette Tavern and Stella’s Grocery and Deli are a huge benefit for me.
