Family-friendly vacation apartment with a view of the Brauneck skiing area

Rural 2-room holiday apartment in Wackersberg-Arzbach, located between the spa town of Bad Tölz and the winter sports resort of Lenggries. The apartment features a large living/dining room with a separate sleeping alcove equipped with a sofa bed for up to 2 people and is suitable for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. It features a visually separated kitchen area, a large bedroom with a double bed (a cot can be added—one is available), a bathroom with a shower and toilet, exposed gables throughout the living area, and a living room with a fully glazed south-facing front offering views of the mountains. Parking is available right outside the door. Bicycles and other sports equipment can be stored in the basement. Fully equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher. Towels, bed linens, and table linens are also provided. Wi-Fi available.

Winter Sports in Lenggries and the Surrounding Area: Lenggries, a neighbouring winter sports resort, offers a wide range of opportunities for snowboarding and skiing at the Brauneck ski area, which features a gondola, 3 chairlifts, and 15 T-bar lifts. The slopes range from gentle beginner runs—where several ski schools are located—to challenging downhill runs. Many small mountain huts invite you to enjoy a cosy snack. Cross-country skiers will find perfect conditions on classic and skating trails in Lenggries and the Jachenau region. Sledding on snow-covered forest roads—combined with a stop at a hiking hut—is also becoming increasingly popular. More and more people in our region have also discovered ski touring. Sports activities in the area: Arzbach is the ideal starting point for all sports enthusiasts; in both summer and winter, there are numerous opportunities to get active. You can set off on a mountain bike ride into the beautiful Längental valley right from the apartment. Climbing, hiking, mountaineering, and much more in breathtakingly beautiful natural surroundings. Just ask us, and we’ll give you a few insider tips. The outdoor pool and tennis courts in Arzbach are about a 5-minute walk away. A sports field with a football field is also conveniently located just a 3-minute drive or 10-minute walk away. There’s another outdoor pool in Lenggries, about a 10-minute drive away. You’ll find indoor pools in both Lenggries and Bad Tölz. The children’s playground in Arzbach is about a 3-minute drive away.

Dining: If you don’t feel like cooking, you’ll find plenty of cosy Bavarian restaurants and cafés right in town. You can find more information on the Wackersberg website, www.wackersberg.de,.

Just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment, you’ll reach the Isar hiking and biking trail for lovely excursions without any hills. From Bad Tölz to Lake Sylvenstein, the trail offers plenty of variety and places to stop for a leisurely break.
