Fossil+Folk House in the heart of Fort Davis

Welcome to Fossil+Folk, a unique stone house owned by an artist couple. Blocks from downtown and a short drive to Marfa and Alpine, this home is ideal for exploration and inspiration.

Enjoy views of Sleeping Lion Mt. right from our front door, relax in hammocks for an unforgettable stargazing experience. The kitchen is fully equipped for your culinary adventures.

Whether you're here for the art, the nature, or simply to unwind, Fossil+Folk offers a truly unique and inspiring stay.

The space
Our home features three bedrooms (2 queen and 2 twin beds) and one bath. A large well stocked kitchen and dining area with a mural of Fort Davis. Central air/heat throughout the house. Outdoor covered porch, hammocks, seating area and propane BBQ for grilling.

(We do charge a one time $30 fee for pets who are bringing a pet and a one time $40 fee if there are more than 4 guests.)
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Cleaning person will take the trash away so you can just leave in bin. You can strip the bed but best if you don’t put the blankets and sheets on the floor. Better to just leave them on top of bed.
