Magical place, so beautiful and peaceful. But lots to do right out the door: kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming in the sound, tennis. Hot tub was fabulous! Views were stunning every time of day. So close to all the great food and attractions in both New Haven and Guilford/Madison but once we arrived back at the house, we felt as if we were miles from anyone. So quiet, so lovely. Absolutely recommend this lovely home and grounds for a perfect getaway.

I was so happy to have found this place tor my family to come together for a week in the summer. This is a most beautiful property and house, and it provided magical experiences for all 11 of us (ages 4-80). It’s hard not to love this place.The house and the views are great. Clean, simply and artfully decorated, the house is cozy, very comfortable and most unusually generously outfitted and supplied - hot tub and sauna and cold plunge, organic kitchen and body products, shelves of cds and speakers, inspirational art and books and cards… Attention has clearly been paid to every detail of body and spirit and it made us feel so well-cared for.The nature here is nothing short of spectacular - a wonderful old garden with giant rocks and many varieties of huge flowering bushes and trees, humming birds and morning doves; ospreys and egrets and herons; tall grasses and crabs and a semi-private beach where you can kayak and swim or walk out to an island in low tide - all in a private and only lightly developed area of shoreline. Wherever we were around the house, or gardens, at the beach or in a kayak, we could feel wonderful energies all around… This truly is a sanctuary for the spirit as well as the body! For healing and rejuvenating, relaxing and having fun, this is a place that invites you to be fully present and fully enjoy it!Thank you dearly, Vivian and Gila, for a fantastic experience!

Gorgeous waterfront property

A gorgeous property with extensive gardens and direct access to the water. With lots of private spaces, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, everyone can find their spot to relax. The deck offers gorgeous views, hot tub, cold plunge and a sauna. The kitchen is fully stocked plus there is an outdoor grill. Kayaking and paddle boarding on the sound was amazing. Don’t sleep on this one
