The bedrooms are small. Sitting in living room and TV room is suitable for only three people. 1/2 bathroom could use a mirror. Only two sets of towels were out with no directions on where the extras were. The parking spot near the front door is unsafe. We knew it was an old house but it was missing things like shades on the windows. Would have been nice to have coffee at the property since there aren’t easy places to get a cup of joeOwner was quite responsive.

My family arrived to find other people staying in the house as it had been double booked. They spent about an hour on the phone after that with the owner while he booked them 2 hotel rooms a 1/2 hour away. Meanwhile, they were missing an important family event they had driven many hours to attend

Overall was a nice home.Although listing mentioned toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner and soap in shower-there was none.No hair dyer either-only 2 towels left out. Rest are under bed in primary bedroom.Highly recommend a mirror in downstairs basement along with one in upstairs bedroom. As mentioned previously one small mirror in bathroom upstairs and a mirror in kitchen that has shelves. The yellow couch arm rests could use a good cleaning. One strong point of emphasis should be made to guests that cellular service in area is non existent so make sure to have check in info prior to arrival along with WiFi and password.Although it is a safe neighborhood would recommend installing deadbolts where they were removed. The arm rest on yellow couch needs a good cleaning.

Less Grand

I could not reach the owner before I came. The email that gave me the code to get in did not include the WiFi password. I had to drive down the road to get a signal. I didn't hear from the owner until I left the next day. Aside from that, the place was small, not bad, clean, but a bit run down, especially outside. The stairs to the deck were scary, and I am not sure the security code is very secure.

Terrible stay

My family stayed one night for a college graduation. I contacted the host weeks before. He said there was a mirror in both bathrooms and one bedroom. I also asked if there was a hairdryer plus all the amenities that were listed onsite. We checked in to a smell of cooked chicken. There was no mirror in half bath(mirror in the kitchen which was a shelf)and couldn't be used for hair and makeup. When you looked up on the ceiling tiny bugs. Toaster oven broke ,no hair dryer, no shampoo and no Ac which was all posted. It was a hot May day. I emailed host as soon as we checked in. No response. So upset trying to get college girls ready for a graduation. VRBO was no help with the complaints since I didn't take pictures. Not sure how to take pictures showing no shampoo,Ac or hairdryer???? Not happy with our stay.
