About the host
Hosted by Beth Kunz
I am the Mom of two sweet kids, a house designer, consultant and real estate broker.
I love being with my family, whether I'm cooking a favorite meal, reading together, watching old movies together or working on a project. Family is my greatest pleasure.
I grew up in Colorado Springs' Old North End and know just about every nook and cranny of this awesome city.
Why they chose this property
Colorado Springs has attractive features unlike anywhere else.
Many know that Colorado Springs is home to Pikes Peak, the Air Force Academy, Olympic Training Center, Broadmoor Hotel and so forth, but the character and thought that were given to this great city by its founders can only be experienced - not described by its land marks. The broad avenues and tree-lined streets of the Old North End are a perfect example.
The climate, outdoor activities, and year-round, natural beauty make it a wonderful place to vacation any time of the year.
What makes this property unique
I chose this home because of it's beauty, character and versatility. From the curved front staircase to the adorable half-story bedrooms, it is not only charming and unique, but holds a surprise in nearly every room.
As neat as the house is, the location is just as exceptional. You'll enjoy walking around the historic neighborhood under stately trees, admiring the variety of turn-of-the-century homes. (Be sure see Wood Avenue aka "Millionaire's row", just one block to the West. This is where many of the largest and oldest homes of the Springs are located.)
Wonderful parks, downtown, groceries and our favorite drive-in are all within walking or bicycling distance.
