Pretty good location. Quiet cove with nice dock. A lot of stairs, but we got our exercise in. Family of 6 was comfortable.

Perfect Location, Great Accomodation

Smith Mountain Lake is a great location for a family vacation. Lake Escape is at a great spot on the lake. Near the bridge in Moneta makes it easy to get to marinas, restaurants, shops, gas, and grocery. The hosts are excellent. The property has a great cove spot on the lake and is set up for outdoor fun and indoor comfort. Striper fishing was fantastic. Golf at nearby Mariner’s Landing was excellent. Lounging by the lake was aaahhhhh.

SML days

Our family had a great time at SML Escape! The property was well maintained and had everything you need to have fun on the lake, manage a rainy day or cook a big meal in the well-stocked kitchen. We had a blast floating, kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake. After a long day, there were very comfortable beds for a good night’s sleep. Thank you Lake Escape for a fabulous week!!

Great Weekend at the Lake!

This home served as our home base for our family to meet from VA, PA, and NC. It met all of our needs and was very welcoming and clean inside. Plenty of room. We enjoyed the dock in a quiet inlet. We rented a pontoon and picked the family up at the dock. It was very convenient. Food shopping is close by. We used the fire pit that overlooked the lake. Wonderful. We look forward to returning.
