A Disastrous Stay (Or Lack Thereof)
I am writing this review with a heavy heart as I was incredibly excited about my stay in Lincoln City. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare.
On the day of my check-in, I received a call from the host informing me that the property was unavailable due to a booking error. A glitch in their system allowed me to book the property even though it was already occupied.
The subsequent hours were a frustrating ordeal. I spent countless hours on the phone with the host and VRBO, trying to resolve the issue. The host's demeanour was rude and unhelpful, and they seemed more concerned with avoiding responsibility than providing a solution.
Despite the non-refundable nature of the booking, I insisted on a full refund. After much back and forth, I could eventually secure a refund, but the entire experience was incredibly stressful and time-consuming.
I would strongly advise potential guests to avoid this property and host. Their incompetence and lack of customer service left me with a negative impression.
