Talkeetna Eastside Cabin is a family owned business with 5 different units available to rent. Two are Yurts, 1 Cabin, The Nook -small townhouse, The Suite, larger townhouse. Our campus is located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood only 4 blocks from downtown Talkeetna and all the activities.
The Nook is a sunlit unit nestled in a quiet wooded neighborhood. It has a cozy sleeping nook - 1Q, that is off the living area - privacy curtain. It is a favorite for kids. The upstairs loft has 1Q and 1F. The downstairs has a kitchen/living room and bathroom. There is a sauna, bbq grill, fire pit, pavilion available to share with other guests on the campus.

The Nook is approx. 600 sq. ft.

We all loved the decorations of the nook and the cozy feeling they put out. My grandson, liked the little nook that he slept in. This is a great listing to enjoy your stay.

Property was clean and nice. Wasn't much to do there, though it rained the whole time. Also couldn't get it very dark to sleep.

Unfortunately, we all had to suffer through a record breaking rainy July. Board games in all the units are frequently enjoyed by guests, young and old.

Thank you for a good night’s rest! The place was clean and cozy, beds were comfortable, host was responsive. I just think It’s best suited for “weekend” travellers with backpacks or small travel bags. Not ideal for those with big luggage, due to lack of space and ease of transfer from the parking.

Quaint, rustic cabin. Perfect for an overnight stay on our way to Denali. Would stay here again. Loved the notch bed on the 1st floor. Cute architectural design. Conveniently located close to downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little place, had everything we needed. 15-20 walk into town which was nice. Wish there was maybe a small table on the deck to sit and enjoy the beautiful property.
