If you enjoy a rustic experience and the feel of off the grid on the grid Maine Ski camps, you’ll love this property. Great value and location for Sugarloaf. Matt is a super host, we had two snow storms in 3 days and I was always plowed out in time to get around.

Bill great to hear you had a good time and good snow. Thanks for staying with us!! Have a great summer.
The cabin was great! Super cozy and fit our needs great. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, oven, toaster oven, pots and pans and basic cooking ingredients. The heat works well, the floor is cold so bring slippers. Matt is a great host. We accidentally went to the wrong address and he helped us to find the place. The composting toilet works great!

1st of all there is no shower or running water so bringing your wife might b rough...after that its cozy and comfortable...if u sleep upstairs bring a bottle of water cause gettin down that ladder is tricky...id stay again but would probably leave the wife home
which really made it special. close to outdoor center which in my 40 plus years of going to the loaf I had never visited (so focussed on skiing). Everything I needed at the cabin, spa worked out fine, would just say the driveway was death defying and luckily I am still fairly spry !

Cabin is super cute and perfect for a weekend ski trip. Right down the road from Sugarloaf and plenty of options for food/drinks.
Be prepared to use the outhouse most of the time, but its a nice, professional set up right next to the cabin and there is a compost toilet inside for any urgent needs.
The host communicated quickly and was very accomodating! We had everything we needed. There is a TV but not cable/wifi, so you can choose to watch some DVDs if you wish, but we recommend disconnecting for your stay for a true vacation! No issues with cell service at all. The loft would be fun for kiddos and has a seperate TV.
I am sure it would be great any season!
