We had a fantastic summer visit to this adorable cabin in a quiet residential neighborhood. The place was recently renovated and included everything we could ever need. It was clean and welcoming. There were only 2 of us, so it felt pretty spacious. It's rated for up to six people, but I wouldn't recommend staying with more than 4 adults (plus a couple of kids would be ok). I loved that it was in keeping with the traditional A-frame cottages of the mid-century ski boom. We enjoyed an outdoor campfire on our final night. I'm sure that it would be equally cozy around the wood stove during the winter. The owner was very responsive when I had questions before and during our visit. We had never been to the "Valley" in the summer. There's a fantastic recreational bike path right out the front door. There's mountain biking at the resort. Hiking opportunities abound. And the kayaking options are endless. We sampled each of these treats. (I guess there's golf, too, but that's not our thing).Of course, in winter, there's the one-and-only spectacular Sugarloaf Mountain Resort for alpine skiing. The Outdoor Center has miles of cross-country and snowshoe trails. This wonderful chalet is about 5 easy miles away from the wintry fun.We hope to return on future visits to the area. I highly recommend this place!
