Thank you! We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in Southold serenity! Everything in Matt’s well equipped, updated home signaled comfort and relaxation. With such a delightful back yard setting, complete with a large pool and screened porch, some days we didn’t even make the very short walk to the private community beach!

Great stay!

We loved everything about this home. It is well appointed, clean and comfy. The outdoor seating space is also wonderful, as is the nearby beach. I highly recommend this perfect vacation spot.

Well-appointed home in a quiet neighborhood. The house felt clean and taken care of. The pool and deck area are really nice for lounging outside. Would definitely recommend to someone else or stay again.

Had a great time with the family here in southold! The house was clean and we were able to have some family stop by to visit! The backyard was perfect for bbq, swimming and playing games in the grass all day long. Would gladly stay here again!!! The beach being close by is also so nice for midday fun or sunset walk.

This house has potential but there were too many things not working – the master bathroom is tiny with only one small hook and no shelves with no place to put wet towels or toiletries; both bathrooms needed scrubbing, with dirty linens and used toothbrushes and toothpaste left; several light fixtures were not working; refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser also not working; nice screened in porch had many unpatched holes to let the bugs in… The pool was lovely but swarming with mosquitoes since there had been no spraying at the beginning of the season. The beach was wonderful – a short walk away and usually completely empty. The house provided excellent beach chairs and umbrellas. If you are looking for peace and quiet though this is not the place. It’s not the owner’s fault but there was a neighboring child who literally screamed outside every day from 8am to 8pm.All that being said, the owner was very helpful and responsive whenever he could help and left wine and flowers and even paid for our beach pass. I feel that his inexperience renting the house showed and hopefully everything will be fixed and the house will be worth the very hefty price by next year.

Leni, We are sorry your experience did not meet your expectations. I noted some of your complaints with our cleaning service. Your other complaints have been addressed regarding hooks in bathroom and dead batteries in the 2 light fixtures above the twin beds. This year was very difficult to control mosquitos but did our best having the property sprayed multiple times for you. Wish you the best.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location! After spending many years out on the North Fork trying to find the “perfect” home we were lucky enough to come across this property in this sought after neighborhood. This area of Southold could not be any more perfect for an east end trip. Five minute drive to some of the best wineries, breweries and restaurants on the North Fork, and a five minute walk to a private community beach. Super easy commute to explore all the amazing things around us, but also feels secluded enough to fully unplug!

We spent the past few years pulling from our backgrounds in construction, interior design and property management to curate the space into what it is today. We love it, you will too!
