The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is very quiet and one of the most peaceful streets on the island yet only a 5-minute walk to the beach. The IOP recreational department with free tennis courts, basketball courts, a soccer pitch, a big kids playground and a dog park is. short walk away. There is a Harris Teeter grocery store, lots of restaurants and a handful of shops on the island as well as Wild Dunes Resort with two golf courses, the Marina and boat ramp. Sullivans Island is just a 10 minute drive with Fort Moultrie and great restaurants. Take the connector over to Mount Pleasant for a stroll on Pitt Street Bridge and amazing views of the Charleston Harbor and Inter-coastal waterway. Paddle board with Dolphins at Shem Creek or head on over the Cooper River bridge for historical walking tours, carriage rides, local markets, boutique shopping and all the amazing restaurants on offer in downtown Charleston.
Getting Around:
There is driveway parking that can easily fit 4 vehicles stacked. 4 Bikes are supplied.
Golf Cart Rentals are very popular on the Island and you can use them to go to the grocery store, restaurants, and beach access. The Island speed limit is 25 MPH and strictly enforced so slowing down and getting into the Island groove is easy!

We had a wonderful stay! Loved the location, walkable to the beach and restaurants, and a short drive to Charleston. Great spacious layout, comfortable beds and loved the fenced-in backyard for our dog. The host was responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out.

The entire house was very clean and welcoming. There was more than enough room for my family and dog. Our dog loved running around in the spacious backyard. The trees on the property were beautiful and the beach was a very quick walk! We also enjoyed the close proximity to dining and a grocery store. The extra room with a full kitchen and couch was an added bonus! Communication was a breeze!

Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house was clean, plenty of space for the family to spread out. The pool was dirty after the storm and propane tanks were empty when we arrived. I contacted the property manager and they had folks out the next day to fix everything, which was great.

Our group was mixed with some locals and some out of state guests but we ALL had a great time. I booked this home as a birthday staycation celebration for my husband and it was perfect. The home has such a unique layout that was perfect for our group. The MIL suite above the garage is a nice plus. & the backyard!! Talk about your own little oasis. I just wish it was warm enough we could have used the pool. We were also close to everything - a short walk or ride away! We rented a golf cart which added to the fun. However, what truly set this home apart was how responsive and helpful the host/management company was from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

The property was as described. Unfortunately, there had been rains the week before and the pool was very cool. We had the option of adding heat, but didn't realize we needed it until arrival. Because our stay was so short, we elected not to heat it. There were two electrical problems that we did not report while we were there. The dining room light has a short in it and flicker aggressively. The light in the in-law suite bathroom did not work at all. The house was VERY CLEAN.
