Surrounding this location the neighborhood is full of unhoused/homeless individuals. Several of which we saw actively using drugs and walking around high. Some of whom like to sleep in the door stoops of this building. It made a late 11:00 p.m. arrival a very stressful experience. We also wanted to be home before dark every night to try and keep out a watchful eye on walking home. One block away is full of their encampment, so there were around 20-30 in the alley by this building. We eventually admitted defeat and ubered so we could be dropped off right by the front door.
Trying to get in the garage is a word of caution. The garage itself has an extremely sharp and narrow turn that would make anything SUV or larger difficult to park. We actually did scratch our vehicle and it was a Subaru outback (though we were quite flustered by loitering homeless).
Once you make it safely inside (no small feat!), this is a fantastic stay. The rooftop was as amazing as the pictures.
We received some broken links with the key codes/check-in instructions and I had to reach out several times to try and obtain working links.
