Beautiful Condo

We took our daughter and a few of her friends for a five day getaway after graduation. They loved the look of the condo. Very clean, neat, and modern. My wife and I enjoyed it as well! Really great space and loved the spaciousness of the balcony. Even though it’s not on the beach, you can see the gulf from the beautiful wall of windows that covers the entire end of the space. The beach access was very close as well which was a nice surprise.

Spring break!

We had the best time visiting this location! This condo was a perfect location for us! Super close to the beach and really close to a lot of nice restaurants! Highly recommend staying here!

Family Vacay

Our whole family visits GS each year! We love it at Sanibel!! Condos are new, modern, and large. Love the big pool and great parking and bike storage. Rental was easy, condo was great!

The living area, kitchen and balcony are huge! Plenty of space for a group of 8. The condo was the cleanest we ever rented. We will definitely be repeat customers!

July 2018 Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Sanibel 405. it was very clean and well furnished. The views were spectacular and the walk to the beach wasnt bad at all. A few small things that could have been better were 1)there was no spatula in the kitchen and 2) the elevator didnt work for 1 whole day which wounldnt have been an issue except that we had 2 toddlers with us.

Fabulous rental!

We were able to book this condo at the last minute after having to cancel our Atlantic coast rental due to Hurricane Matthew. We have never been gulf coast people, but this stay has changed that! We loved the area and the condo was PERFECT! The ladies were super helpful and beyond hospitable. Rates were competitive, condo was very roomy and clean. We will be back!

Wonderful time at this condo.

We had a great time. The beach was beautiful. The condo was nice, but I would recommend checking the dishwasher. It took a couple washes to clean the dishes. The dryer also required multiple cycles to adequately dry clothes. We traveled with 4 children, so some plastic dishes would have been nice.

One of the best!

We had a great time staying here! Clean, close to the beach, enough room for 8 people, perfect for me, 2 of my boys, my sister, my best friend, her 2 kids, and her mother in law. I think having the 2 and a half bathrooms helped out so much! Great fishing area behind the complex and safe places to take walks if you are interested in keeping up with your physical activity. Not too far from the traditional tourist things but it was a plus to not be too close. We will be back! Book it now! You will not regret it!

June 2018 Stay

We loved this condo! It was very clean and so nice! The decor is beautiful! Everyone has been so nice!! We will most definitely be back! The one thing I wish could change although not a big deal, is there is no lock on the door from the inside. My 2 year old twins quickly realized they could escape easily. Ha! But again, this was not a big deal as they only tried a couple times. Overall, one of the best condos we have ever stayed at!

It was okay, but could be improved

Management responded to some of our needs. Our family went to spend the week and loved the location and space itself. The refrigerator seemed as if the power had been off to the unit as it took more than 48 hours to cool. We had to throw away cold items bc after keeping it super cold on ice all of it became room temperature for 24 plus hours!! No cable, slow wifi, 1 TV didn't even turn on! A/c did not work they were prompt to fix it but the TV and fridge issue were not addressed at all. Its private Beach access is a public beach access but great calm location. Overall we may stay here again but unsure. Everyone was extremely kind...maybe just a fluke since they are reopening after hurricanes.

May 2021 Stay

Our stay went pleasantly well. The condo was very nice and clean. Loved the balcony! Very large and ocean view. When I booked I received a call to make me aware that the pool and hot tub was under construction. That was fine with me bc we were there for the beach.It was a short walk to the beach. You have to cross the street to get to the beach.I didn’t mind it at all. The only downfall, which has nothing to do with the actual condo, was the office part. The site didn’t mention anything about paying for parking until you were told to download the app. $25 per car.. cash only. It also didn’t mention what time the office closed. Just to contact Randy if no one was in office. Check in was at 4 and we arrived around 5. No one was in office so we could purchase the parking pass. We called as we were told (multiple times) and he didn’t answer. We texted then he called. He told us that he would be back in off the next day around 9, we would get a parking violation and will not get towed. So beware of that part.

Sanibel Unit 405

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Sanibel Condo for 13 years in various units at different floors. Over the years we have also used different ways to book our trip. Each trip is slightly different experience depending what unit you stay at and what rental company is used to book it.The main reason we keep returning to Sanibel is the location. It’s easy to access the beach with all your stuff and afterwards you can chill in the pool before figuring out dinner plans. We love the grills and use them each visit. This year there were some hiccups. In the past the rental company would have the required parking pass inside the unit which makes it very convenient. Now we had to remember to have $25 cash ( we never carry cash) and find the property manager or risk getting a boot on our car. A big hassle if you show up after hours.The unit needs some maintenance. Several electrical outlets in the bedrooms don’t work. Towel bar handles are missing in some bathrooms. Toilet handles in some bath looked like they could break and second. The dishwasher treys are missing the wheels. Kitchen sink that has the garbage disposals clogged and we had to work hard to fix it. Unit was mostly clean with the exception of the mold spots on the soap trey in the shower and the handle to the balcony. I have never seen as dirty balcony door frame. It was almost black. We spent almost an hour robbing it clean and got most of the black removed. Not sure when it was cleaned.

Relaxing, Refreshing, Would Return

This was my first time initiating a rental property via VRBO (other times, friends did all the heavy lifting on reservations), which I shared during my reservation. Given that I shared it was my first time, I would think a smidge more care on communication would be given (more on this below), but we survived. Overall, it was a decent experience (4-stars). I've stayed at Sanibel before (via other friends), surprisingly enough I remembered this when we pulled up. Great location, clean space, everything one would need to enjoy a vacation. I will say that the owners weren't the best with communication through vrbo website. I'm looking now at 2 msgs I sent but weren't responded to. :( As a newbie, it was really frustrating/anxiety-inducing. The listing states a 4pm check-in, but then I received an email from the site stating it was 5pm. I messaged about this, and was told they try for 4pm but 5pm is check in time, which is super late in my opinion, given that check out is 10am) and that I would receive text with check-in code between 2-4pm. I didn't receive the check-in information. I called/text at 430pm requesting info and again at 530pm. I eventually got through after 530pm to the owner who text the info. I think it would be best if the check-in codes were both emailed and text, given that phone cell service isn't always guaranteed. There was also no forewarning about parking fee on the listing (didn't receive this until 2days before, cash-only). The site manager (to get the parking pass) was not there at the time of our arrival, so it was nerve-wracking to a degree to not have this piece taken care of. Toaster also was not functioning (or maybe it was the outlet not working). All in all, now that I've gotten through my first experience, I know a bit more of what to expect. I'd stay here again, with hopes the communication and check in process was better.

Baseball & The Beach

My family was here for a youth baseball event, and we loved the trip. The condo was the perfect setup for our family, and had just enough space for us to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. We were a short drive to everything, but we were still far enough away that we could get away from the traffic and crowds. The beach access was just across the street, and there was plenty of parking no matter when we got home for the night. If we take another trip to this area, we will definitely look at this place again.
