Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Pool Towels: wash/dry/put back on laundry room shelf
Grill: pre-heat grill and clean grates with Grill Rescue brush and water (stored under the grill with dunk tank)
Bed Sheets/Bath Towels: roll out of bed/leave dirty sheets on the unmade bed; put used bath towels in the shower/tub
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No business transactions and/or illegal activities are to occur on property.
AWD or 4WD vehicle is strongly recommended (Nov through Mar), even though the roads in Echota are well maintained and plowed
Quiet hours 10pm to 8am. Furniture should not be rearranged or relocated. You are responsible for any damages to the condo by anyone in your party.

We had a great stay at this condo/home. It was clean, the furniture was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, great beds and showers and a nice layout. We loved the street level easy in/easy out parking and the view from the deck was amazing!! A few nice perks that we haven't seen in other units were (and they are small but very thoughtful and added to the stay) snacks on the kitchen counter when we arrived, a google speaker in the kitchen that we used for music when having dinner and playing games at night, a grill on the deck which we did use, spacious rooms for our family and honestly just a really modern and comfortable place to say. Also, we had great communication with our hosts who replied to all of my text/questions promptly and effeciently! Highly recommend this home when staying in the Banner Elk/Boon area!

My husband and I have lived on the North Carolina coast all of our lives and have been married for 30 years. We have two adult children and a very large extended family. We love riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking the many trails in the area, and enjoying the cool, refreshing air of the lush mountains. We love sharing our second home with people — a place of respite and peace.

Why they chose this property

Through the years we have always dreamed of owning a little slice of heaven in the mountains. When we discovered Echota we knew we had found the perfect location because it is right in the middle of all the places we love to visit in Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. We were certain we found the perfect place when we walked inside and saw the magnificent view of Grandfather Mountain from the kitchen, family room, primary bedroom, and back porch. Watching the sun move across the rugged face of that mountain all day is like watching the Creator do a live painting -- it's a grand view without the hike!

What makes this property unique

The grand view of Grandfather Mountain is the hallmark of this property coupled with it being entry level and no stairs makes it ideal for any age. Since the condo is an end unit, there is a ton of natural light inside and the private corner back porch has a built-in gas grill.
