Bungalow Cabin w/ Spa on 160 Acres, New Host! Over 200 Exceptional Reviews!
Have a dream cabin getaway at Beaver Run, our modern property on 160 acres! Built in 2016, the cabin features upgraded amenities, beautiful interiors and wraparound decks, all incorporating elements handcrafted from trees found right on the property. Fish for bass in the three-acre pond. Explore your forested surroundings. Soak in the covered, well-lit hot tub as the sun sets. Or head to Canton First Monday Trade Days or Lake Tawakoni State Park—both are close by!
"This is the spot you've been searching for!" says a recent guest of a stay in our cabin, and we agree. We're all searching for a place where we can be with our loved ones, get close to nature, and appreciate beautiful settings together. Our cabin really is just that place! The cabin has an expansive feel, with soaring tongue & groove pine ceilings and hand-scraped pine floors. There's also a luxurious bath with a large walk-in shower with rain head. We built this cabin in 2016 and have hosted many happy guests since (we're happy to provide additional reviews from other sites). We kept the outdoors close with big windows everywhere you look, including from the custom kitchen and dining areas. Kitchen amenities include an island, granite and butcher block countertops, and an inviting window seat that will coax helpers into the kitchen. Cabinets are stocked with all the cookware and dishes you need. Many of the home's features are crafted from trees found on the property, like the the custom cedar slab dining table and the massive cedar posts on the front porch. Kids love the property's quirky details, including a custom bunkbed with trap door and a private portal window for stargazing. The bed setup includes two lofted twin beds and a queen bed in one bedroom (which is opens to the downstairs common area), and a queen bed in the other. Great for parents, grandparents and grandkids traveling together! Take your coffee outside to the large wraparound deck overlooking majestic oaks—some on the property are over 100 years old! Or sneak away to the 2nd story private balcony overlooking the pond. Then spend a whole day exploring the acreage, which is ultra-secluded and set back 3/4 mile from the main road, with 1.5 miles of hiking trails. Deer, fox, birds and beavers are all frequent visitors. Paradise!

This place was fantastic. The owner was very responsive, the house was great. Very secluded and exactly what we were looking for. I can't recommend this cabin highly enough. 12/10 would book again!
We had a great stay! The place was very clean and well-kept, which made us feel comfortable right away. The hot tub was definitely a highlight—perfect for relaxing after a long day perfect temperature Everything was just as described, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and inviting. We would absolutely stay here again! We loved it !!!
The cabin was exactly as described in the listing and well-stocked with everything we needed for our short stay. The location was very quiet and peaceful, which made it especially enjoyable. My husband had a great time fishing in the pond.We would definitely recommend this property to others, especially for anyone planning a trip to First Monday in Canton.
This has been one of our favorite places for many years. It is so peaceful and the host is awesome! Great communication, extremely accommodating, and overall great to work with. Can't say enough good things about the property or the owner and we can't wait to go back!
Such a charming home. It had everything that we needed. We loved the hot tub, fire pit and seating areas especially. We also loved not being able to see any other houses and the gate helped us feel safe.
We had an amazing stay at this retreat! The deck and hot tub were perfect for relaxing, the fishing pond was so peaceful, and the stars at night were breathtaking. The home was cozy, well-equipped, and the host made everything seamless. A true hidden gem—we can’t wait to come back!
Great location and peaceful. The facilities were useful and the town wasn't far to get supplies. The small pond on property was peaceful to rest and reflect.
We wanted to have a quick retreat for our family before school started back up, and this place was perfect! Well-maintained, clean property, and the hot tub was amazing for the cold days and nights! I would highly recommend!

Thank you, Jason for the kind words! We are so glad your family loved the cabin and hope you'll return one day.
The cabin home looked even better in person, everything was as pictured and the home was beautiful. Everything was clean, readily available and in good condition. The property was also serene and a beautiful sight. Loved our stay.
As always, we had an amazing time at Beaver Run. The new host was awesome to work with and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. We are so grateful for our time there and will absolutely be back!
Property just like pictured and described. We saw deer, hudge hawks, turtles and other abundant wild life. Great place to sit on the deck, read a book and watch the wild life. Will be booking again.
This property is beautiful! We wanted a quick get away from the noise of the world to relax...and this was exactly what we wanted/needed. The cabin is fully equipped and decorated with lots of charm. In the evenings, we sat on the patio with the lights turned off and enjoyed seeing the stars and listening to the wildlife. We plan to return again and again as often as we can. We loved this place!
We had 4 women celebrating a b-day. The place was really nice. You can't park close to the house so bring a wagon to unload. The hot tub was awesome! So many jets! Loved all the decking and the upstairs balcony. Great views of the wooded property and the pond with a bench was lovely. We enjoyed the gas stove and had fun playing games, crafting and eating! Jennifer was great and dealt with all of our challenges with kindness and care. Very nice place!
Nice quiet place but pictuers makes it look alot bigger. Very small place for 3 or more grown adults. Only 2 beds in the place except for a kiddie loft that has 2 todler like mattresses. So as long as someone wants to share beds or bring blow up mattresses. Besides that, the property was beautiful and quiet and lots of wildlife. Its very well maintained and clean. Fishing in the pond is decent but it has its days as all fishing does. But it was nice. My family and i really enjoyed it and would definitely go back. Owners are very nice and communicate well and the booking process was very easy. Defiently would recommend.
