I’m Mandy, a proud God fearing Mississippian with a background in both military service and Marriott hospitality. I’ve served in the Army and Air National Guard, where I learned the values of discipline, teamwork, and care for others—qualities that I now bring into hosting. I chose Emory, Texas, because it perfectly blends small-town charm with natural beauty. Nestled between Lake Fork and Lake Tawakoni, the area is known for fishing, boating, and stunning sunsets on the water. The neighborhood itself is quiet and peaceful, offering guests the chance to unwind while still being close enough to enjoy local shops, dining, and outdoor adventures. What I love most is the sense of community—you’re greeted with warmth, and neighbors look out for each other. It’s a place where guests can feel both tucked away in serenity and connected to local life.

My home is more than just a place to stay—it’s a Christian-based retreat designed to support rest, peace, and renewal. Each guest room is thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind, from cozy beds with touch-light headboards to personal touches like journals, pantry access, and a hallway mailbox system for fun or private messages between guests. Guests also enjoy access to wellness features like gym equipment and journaling spaces, plus outdoor seating to take in the Texas night sky.
