Perfect for attending Washington University Graduation

My husband and I, mother-in-law, and daughter stayed for several nights. The apartment was very conveniently located near campus. Nearby neighborhoods were perfect for walking and exploring. The apartment has everything you will need to feel comfortable while away from home. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Thanksgiving Visit in St. Louis

Large comfortable upstairs of house, very walkable to coffee and local restaurants. Only a mile to Forest Park. Very responsive host. We recommend.

Good Location for Popular Attractions

The apartment was in a good location for quick access to Midtown, Central West End and Forest Park attractions. such as the zoo, Chess Hall of Fame, and Fabulous Fox Theater. (The neighborhood felt safe -- people were walking their dogs, expensive cars were parked on the street -- but for what it's worth, on the next block there's a Schnucks grocery store that has private security and an off-duty police officer stationed at the entrance, plus a surveillance camera with flashing police lights in the parking lot. Make of that what you will.)The apartment has fairly new appliances. Dishes and pots were clean and ready to use. I also appreciate that the host did not have a lot of demands at check out (some places want you to strip beds and start the laundry, but they did not ask for that, which I appreciate).That said, the apartment was not hospital-grade clean. The floor of one of the bedrooms could have used a better sweeping, and both I and the other adult in our party said we felt like we wanted to get through our showers as quickly as possible. Also we had to really hunt for hand towels and washcloths.Last thing I'll mention: we posed a question about an addition blanket using the app, and the host said they did not get an alert and only saw the message more than 24 hours later, when they logged in to send us check-out instructions. I don't know what the issue was, perhaps not their fault, but it happened.Overall assessment: it was fine. Not great, but good enough.
