We really enjoyed this property for a family reunion retreat. It was also conveniently located to get to most areas in Des Moines quickly. Super clean. The basement game room was a big hit for kids. The basement stays cold.

We had amazing time! This property was clean and very cozy! We loved taking naps on the couches, the coffee station, and the costume closet. It was the perfect experience for our group- a cast of actors in a touring play in Des Moines for the week.

So much room! We had a party of 7 so the 5 good size bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect. Great well stocked kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, small appliances, spices etc. Large dining area with plenty of seating for a large group. The downstairs was perfect for the young adults. Plenty of comfy seating with a large screen TV and a large kitchen area. Beautiful outdoor space to enjoy and watch the wildlife. We even saw a deer! The host was so easy to contact with any questions. We would definitely stay there again if staying in the Des Moines area.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was central to everything we did. The house was very clean and bigger than we thought it would be. Our stay was great. It fit the whole family. We were close to other relatives and things to do. The welcome email and Vrbo had different check in and check out times so I would recommend fixing that but it didn't effect our stay.
