2nd stay at this property. Love the location, the 2 decks are perfect. Great property if you have dogs, fully fenced on a quite cul de sac. Quite and comfortable location close to hiking and shops in Pine.
The outdoor patios are great. You can spread out and relax outside. The house is a smaller than the photos make it seem. The kitchen is tiny and without a dishwasher. If you intend to cook, this kitchen will be a problem. It worked well for our dog who liked the yard and patios to roam or nap on.
It is the perfect cabin if you need to just get away. Having the double patios furnished was amazing. I was able to have dedicated to reading and one dedicated to writing. Facing the forest in the back was amazing and we had Elk all day running around. The cabin inside was the perfect size and was very cozy. I did not bring my dogs this time but I will next time. The cabin seemed super pet friendly with pet specific towels, extra dishes and even a pooper scooper. I will most definitely rent this cabin again.
We had a great time thank you so much! Loved the huge fenced in property for the dogs. The cabin was located in a cul de sac so there was very little traffic going by. We really enjoyed spending our thanksgiving at your property, thank you!!
Everything was great. Nice and secluded location, lovely patio to hang out on in the evenings, large fenced-in yard that the dogs really enjoyed. I hope this place is available next time we are planning a trip to Pine.
Great stay! The cabin is cozy, comfortable and very pet friendly. We had a great weekend stay. Gate out to the forest, quiet neighborhood and very relaxing.
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. We had a blast (including the dogs). Would definitely recommend and stay again! It was a beautiful cabin.
Well kept property located in secluded pines. We saw 2 elk in the woods behind the house the afternoon we arrived. enjoyed the quietness. Having 2 decks was a bonus.

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
We have stayed in many cabins in this area over the years. This is the first time we’ve ever considered leaving on the first night. I should have realized when the owner would not even communicate via email prior to our check-in that we were going to potentially have issues. The cabin is definitely not kept up. It was very hot the weekend we were there. There are only window unit air conditioners, which are all very old and covered in mold and showing that they require filter changes. The bathroom light and fan was loaded with mold and dead bugs. As well as both tubs having multiple spiders. All of the windows had piled up dead bugs, dirt and debris. The screen slider doors do not work to allow for a cross breeze. The floors were filthy and had spots that I cleaned myself before letting my grandchildren walk around, I can confirm that we left that cabin cleaner than we found it. The owner does ask to report anything upon arriving, but due to not being responsive to email and previous reviews we knew that we would not get any of these items corrected. The furniture on the patios are in very poor condition and one cannot even consider sitting on them. They are old and moldy. This is the first time in over 15 years of renting places that I have had to write a review like this. There are beautiful places to stay in Pine and Strawberry. We will not be returning to this cabin.
We stayed for a small family birthday celebration for pur daughter who turned 16. She loved it! The hammocks were dreamy for early morning nature bathing. What a fun home to stay im! Thank you.
My family and I stayed at Lisa’s for the weekend and had such an amazing time! Beautiful home and yard. We’d love to come back and stay at her place. Thank you!!
Had a great time in the cabin reconnecting with friends. Thanks again for the experience

We loved the Cabin in the Woods!
Everything was ready and perfect for our stay! We loved the outdoor deck areas and spent most of our time there. The firepit was great for cool nights and roasting marshmallows. Be sure and visit the Trident tasting room for some fun wines!

Enjoyed the cozy cabin in Pine, Az. being able to use front and back porches with 6 adults and a dog made this stay comfortable and relaxing. Great fenced in property for the dog. We were there over a holiday weekend and booked the property due to its remote location and NF backyard. The only issue was the NF access road directly behind the property and constant noise and dust from off road vehicles and excess traffic perhaps due to holiday weekend warriors. But overall, a nice weekend getaway for everyone.
We enjoy this property. So secluded and peaceful. The fencing around the property is huge plus for the safety of our dog. 2 Covered patios are awesome to hang out on when snowing, and the views are breathtaking. Thank you for having us again.

Why they chose this property
We loved to escape to Pine from the Phoenix summer heat often. We fell in love with this little town, not only during the hot summer days, also during the magical snowy days of winter! Actually this place is amazing all year round... :)
What makes this property unique
The Cabin is located at a great unique location and its backing to the natural forest. All the property is fenced and make it very safe for kids and pets!
The hiking trails are just out side our back yard gate :) As the forest its our back yard, It is very secluded, quite and still not far from the road to the restaurants and shopping areas. This Is the best place to relax and enjoy the nature!
