Heaven away from home awaits on pristine Green Lake in Dedham Maine. 3 spacious bedrooms (a king, queen, and a full) 2 full baths, stainless steel and granite kitchen, beautiful patio overlooking the water with outside seating, complete with fire pit and beach area so you can easily bring your water toys.
Paddle boat, canoe and kayaks on site for your use during your stay. You won't ever want to go home!

We had a great stay! The host let us know the house was ready early, so we got a few extra hours the first day! The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and the AC in the living room kept the entire house reasonably cool (in 90 degree weather!). It was easy access to the lake, and the water was so clean. It is a beauty location!!

We overall really enjoyed our stay. The lake access with canoes and kayaks and a lovely dock was a huge perk that we appreciated. Plenty of space for our big family and ample linens and towels. Check in was easy with a keypad door lock. We flew in and really wanted a cooler to be able to pack lunches for a daytime trips- the owner graciously provided us with one. Super awesome to be accommodated in this way. Heads up - this listing states sleeps 8. Pay careful attention to the beds listed as there are only standard beds to sleep 6, plus 2 roll away beds.Kitchen is very basically equipped (like most VRBOs). Did find what we needed but don’t expect to find the same comforts of home. I was bummed that I didn’t find a crockpot. I would upgrade the beds and furniture if I had a recommendation- they were less comfortable than a decent hotel.Overall a highly recommend with some suggestions for improvement.

Thanks for your suggestions. We do actually have a crockpot, a waffle maker, and a rice cooker in the cabinet just above the pots and pans. I wish you had asked; I could have told you where to find them. We stay there often ourselves, so we try to provide everything needed for a comfortable visit. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

This cabin is absolutely amazing !! The cleanliness of the cabin, location, and atmosphere made for the most perfect vacation in Maine ! This is a must book for family or couples a great hike just down the road if you want to stay close to cabin but still get all the feels of Maine ! This home was absolutely perfect for a relaxing lake getaway! My family loved taking day trips to Acadia, riding the Revolution Rail Co. along the lake, and spending quality time together at this beautiful property. The house was clean, spacious, and had a stunning lake front. Check-in was simple, the kitchen was well-stocked with appliances for cooking, and the property manager was friendly and easy to communicate with. A wonderful place all around!

The house was exceptionally clean, the kitchen well-stocked (for six people) and supplies were available as expected. We stayed mid-October ... too late for swimming, and also a week late for fishing on the lake pewr Maine rules :( . The beds were comfortable, everything well maintained and working. House is convenient to Acadia (for a lakeside location off MDI). We enjoyed our brief three night stay, enjoyed the views and firepit, and it certainly merits a summertime re-visit to better enjoy the beautiful lake.

Our dream of waterfront property came true in 2010 when we bought this beautiful piece of land. We built the home over a period of 4 years with all the specifications we wanted for our eventual retirement haven. We've made many upgrades including a steel dock system and granite counters.

Why they chose this property

Conveniently located half way between Bangor and Acadia National Park - this area has so much to offer. Shopping, concerts, nightlife in Bangor & a slower paced coastal feeling in Ellsworth and Bar Harbor nearby.

What makes this property unique

Pristine new construction. This is not a typical camp - it's a beautiful home on the water with every feature for outdoor living - and wireless internet if you need to work while you vacation.
There's so much to do & see. Nearby hiking trails & a beautiful all natural rock slide within hiking distance. Great fishing from our paddle boat, kayaks or canoe or bring your own fishing boat and go exploring on the 9 miles of beautiful lake that crosses 3 towns.
